Spider-Man Far From Home is now less than a week away from hitting theaters, so the time is right to discuss the final Marvel Cinematic Universe movie of Phase 3 (and 2019)! Rather than going the predictable route and kicking things off with Mysterio, instead I want to review a figure that’s gotten a bum rap up until now. The Marvel Legends Molten Man Build-A-Figure is selling surprisingly low on eBay as far as ML BAFs go, but is he high-quality enough to melt my cold heart in-hand?

I generally try to practice what I preach with regards to placing pre-orders for limited edition items early before they sell out and explode price-wise on the aftermarket, but sometimes I get careless (or is it lazy?). Such was the case with the first character released in the Iron Studios Avengers Endgame 1:10 Statue line, who quickly sold out worldwide and is sharply escalating in value. I ended up paying 150 bucks shipped for my Iron Studios Nebula Statue on eBay… was she worth the inflated price I had to pay to secure one at all?

The most-anticipated series of every year for a large contingent of Marvel Legends collectors is the annual X-Men Legends series, and while we’ve got some offshoot waves coming later in the year, the core wave has begun arriving! While this is another stacked series, the 2019 X-Men Legends Build-A-Figure is a little… less… demanded than the majority of the wave. The Marvel Legends Caliban BAF can already be found for around just 50 bucks online… but is he comparatively cheap because he’s bad, or just in low demand…?
