Marvel Legends Juggernaut Build-A-Figure Fully Revealed!

I don’t think that there’s any contest as far as what’s being the most talked-about and most anticipated Hasbro Marvel Legends 6″ series of 2016–the X-Men wave! And while Hasbro teased us last week with the first look at the head of the wave’s BAF, in honor of Memorial Day they’re showing us the full toy for the very first time: it’s the X-Men Marvel Legends Juggernaut Build-A-Figure!

Marvel Legends Juggernaut Build-A-Figure

When Hasbro confirmed at New York Toy Fair 2016 that Apocalypse wouldn’t be the Build-A-Figure of the X-Men Legends wave, it made it pretty easy to accept that the leaked information revealing a Juggernaut BAF for the series was correct.

And on Friday, Hasbro legitimized that information when they showed off the Juggernaut head (in helmet) coming with the new Brown Costume Wolverine Marvel Legends figure. With the 2016 Marvel Legends X-Men wave expected to go up for sale on June 1st, I anticipated the first glam shot of the Juggernaut would be heading our way on Tuesday, May 31st.

Marvel Legends X-Men Juggernaut Figure Close-UoBut surprise–it turns out that someone actually is working over at Hasbro HQ today (and is hopefully getting Memorial Day holiday double-pay), because the Hasbro website has now posted the very first image of the complete Marvel Legends Juggernaut Build-A-Figure!

It’s been over a decade since a ML Juggernaut was last released, and that figure was in Toybiz Marvel Legends Series 6–so at this point, an updated Juggernaut really does seem due.

In the close-up image, you can see the sculpting texture on Cain’s metal helmet and the deranged look on his face, complete with crooked teeth–this is definitely not the heroic version of the Juggernaut, that’s for sure!

Wolverine Marvel Legends X-Men Juggernaut Build-A-Figure Series Packaged

This particular 100% new mold of Cain Marko looks to be inspired by the Todd McFarlane Juggernaut, which is going to make for some awesome fight scenes with various Spider-Man six-inch figures!

While we don’t know exactly how big this newest Hasbro 6″ scale Juggernaut figure is going to be, based off of the head and helmet that we can see packaged with Wolverine, it looks like this Juggernaut is gonna be a very big boy that should ultimately be comparable in size to the beloved (and enormous) Marvel Select Juggernaut figure.

While the Diamond Select Toys Juggernaut clearly has a bit more sculpting detail to it than the Hasbro version, the DST Juggernaut isn’t nearly as articulated as the new Juggernaut Marvel Legends Build-A-Figure, so each version has an advantage over the other.

Marvel Legends Juggernaut Build-A-FigureThe only verified Marvel Legends 2016 X-Men Series is scheduled to go up for sale online on June 1st, 2016, and is expected to ship out shortly thereafter. The waiting game for news and images of this summer’s various Hasbro six-inch figures has definitely been killer, but it is sort of nice that we have figures shipping so close to being revealed these days!

Now that we’ve seen it in all its glory, what do you think of the X-Men Legends Juggernaut Build-A-Figure, Marvel collectors? How do you think this Juggs compares to the Marvel Select and Toybiz versions of the character? Will you be buying the whole Marvel Legends X-Men Juggernaut Series because of this BAF… or in spite of it?

  1. Yep, the head is too big. I wonder what the range of motion on his arms is going to be? Still looks pretty cool, though.

You reckon he’ll have an alternative head? Is the helmet removable?

  2. For God sakes, hasbro gives us a badass x men wave and all the unsatisfied self entitled whiners keep complaining about scale and size and this joint should have been this. I mean really, have y’all aftually listened to yourselves? Stfu!

    • They gave us all figures we already had, which is why we are comparing them you dolt. Why would I buy figures I already have if they aren’t actually better???

      • Are you serious? All of these are major upgrades. That toybiz Phoenix wasn’t good, the toybiz juggernaut was too short and had gorilla arms, toybiz cable way too short, brown wolverine is arguable. This Deadpool is EASILY the best one yet, kitty Pryde is 100 times better than that awful giant man wave one. The old Havok figure wasn’t bad but wasn’t good either. This one looks great. There is NO way anyone can say the toybiz rogue was as good or better than the new one. This iceman isn’t very exciting but has a better body mold than the last Hasbro one or the toybiz ones.

  3. Can’t wait to get it. Because NOTHING STOPS THE JUGGERNAUT … from being on my shelf display.

  4. Juggernaut looks great! Being in the UK, it is too expensive to get a ToyBiz Juggernaut (and getting a Select Juggernaut for a Legends collection just seems sacrilege) so am looking forward to getting a Juggernaut.
Also, due to how good the rest of the wave looked, I wanted the entire series anyway. Havok, Shadowcat, Rogue, Deadpool and Iceman look like definite upgrades on existing models. The ToyBiz Cable looks better (in my opinion) than the new one and I am not too fussed about another Jean or Wolverine but all three of these look good enough to review in hand before deciding whether or not to add to the collection.

    • Select Juggernaut is AWESOME with the Legends figures.
Anything else just seems too small.
And the ONLY way a Legends Juggernaut could be better than the Select one is the articulation.

      • Agreed, I have a lot of selects in my display because the scale is off on the legends especially on the hulks and foes (hulk, red hulk, juggy, & abomination) though I do like BAF Rhino and Hulkbuster over the selects. Select Thanos >>>>>>> BAF Thanos.

        • Agreed on all points except Thanos.
Thanos looks waaaaaaaaaaaaay better in his modern tech-armored look with the deep blue and maniacal grin than with the silly fat elf suit and baby blue.
I’m okay with him not being Hulk-sized.

          • LOL! I dare you to say that to his face. The mad Titan may not find it as amusing as I. Lmao!?
Agreed. I do see your point. However, objectively I see it from both sides. The whole genre could be mocked from a certain point of view. A super-science engineered enhanced man in star-spangled tights, body armor and carrying a “indestructible” shield fighting monsters and mad scientists? A pointy eared fish man king and a burning robot man aflame with a fire that does not consume him? Ok.
Nothing “silly” about ANY of that. LOL. Right?
It’s cool, capt. I love comics. I love marvel. I collect the trifecta of smallest to largest marvel figures: 3.75″,6″,and 7″select figures!
Point being for ML &MS is the comics–the source material– itself continually fluctuates scale according to artist’s interpretation.
One guy draws Thanos,Hulk,Wrecker the size of a cement truck then the next guy draws him Hummer sized. The next artist may draw the a characters larger than a big rig semi-truck! Wow. Thus, I buy them all sizes to give myself more options for my displays. It’s ALL good.
BTW: Select Thanos is not “HULK”size. At least he’s not Select HULK sized. Select Hulk dwarfs the mad Titan in same series.
In conclusion I’m just saying there’s room for everyone.
            To each his own.
            ?Shalom!

      • Aye. The word is that the same sculptor did this HML Cain as well as MS version.
        And If I May;
to ALL readers:this New Juggernaut appears to be on a recast Rhino mold base body! Eyeball it. Look at the torso, limits and notice the similar contours. Time will tell. Yet,to me I’m seeing that this Cain Marko will be(IS) the size of HML Rhino. Thus the articulation is(will be) comparable to your Rhino figure.
        ?Shalom!

    • “Sacrilege” you say? Wow,that’s strong language there friend. ?Being a practitioner of optimism,I’ve often found that the happy middle ground in most philosophy and religion is that of the harmony of complementarity. ?
One line of toys complements the other and so forth..IMHO.

      As for this bit of BAF news in general;
Well. I’m disappointed. Apocalypse just can’t seem to catch a break this year! LoL! NOTHING stops(or beats) the Select Cain Marko, but I guess there “should”be a HML Juggernaut
      to update the old TML?.
The “Thanos paradigm” is in effect.
I’m on the fence on this one. I got Thanos just because it was a LEGENDS Thanos(Again IMO the Select version is best) I pawned those redundant movie figures too. No such issue with X-Men fortunately, however,Rogue,Jean,Drake, and Nathan are all I need or want.
Do I get the update and pawn poor TML Kitty and Alex? Do I keep old Wade and new Wade or sell one of them?
Ah! Decisions. Decisions! &1st world problems! Lmao!
      ?Shalom!

  5. One of the greatest waves in ML history is capped off with a brown Wolverine (my favorite) and a BAF Juggernaut! A few years ago we were concerned that there might not be any ML and now we are getting the best molds ever at what seems to be a monthly rate! But still you will ALWAYS get those that will complain about something. These are the same people that complain that Nick Fury & Chameleon come with to many heads

  6. Has juggernaut been in anything recentlyrecently since that random secret wars bit?
