Spider-Man Brand New Day has been out in theaters for a couple of days now (and making wacky amounts of money), but the party keeps on rolling for ol’ Spidey, as now Spider-Man Day 2026 has arrived! And to commemorate the pseudo-holiday, Hasbro has some red-hot Marvel Legends pre-orders rolling out: the Marvel Legends Maximum Symbiote Spider-Man and the Amazon Exclusive Scorpion figure are up for order now!
It’s going to be quite a while and well into 2027 before Hasbro can introduce many of the surprises from the latest Spoder-Man film into the Marvel Legends collection, but Hasbro has cooked up some comics-based goodness to celebrate the day nonetheless, including two sure-to-be popular 6” figures and even a new role-play mask!
Let’s take a look…
Hot off of his appearance in the newest Spider-Man movie, Scorpion has the highest-profile that he’s ever had and is sure to be more in demand than ever before. In a perfect world, Hasbro would have had the references and lead time to have a perfect MCU Scorpion on shelves simultaneously with the movie’s launch.
We don’t live in that world. Disney generally doesn’t give out concept art a year-plus in advance, and a movie Scorpion earlier than 2027 just isn’t going Ho happen. But Hasbro could at least update the comic book inspiration for the new movie villain—and they have!
Mac Gargan has had a few forays into the Marvel Legends toy line, but this latest update is exclusively available via Amazon and gives us a new backpack and a wire bendy tail that set it apart from previous iterations. Some will complain about the lack of tail stinger, but this is a more focused early appearance version that is accurately stinger-free.
I think the wire bendy tail is a huge upgrade that fans that will make a big difference during posing and really up the fun factor on this guy for fans. I have a couple older Scorpion figures already, but it’s the bendy tail that’s earning Hasbro my bucks again.
Alongside Mac, we get an actual Spider-Man figure to celebrate Spider-Man Day with! Maximum Symbiote Spider-Man is a straight repeat of the first Maximum Spider-Man figure, but with new paint and new accessories.
The new emo/moody Peter Parker head sculpt isn’t really my thing, but I’m not one to turn my nose up at a Peter Parker head.
There’s a ton of other interesting extras included, including a symbiote in containment unit and sonic blaster gun for Spidey to keep the symbiote at bay with.
I really like the recolored black Spidey Sense effects piece, but my favorite accessory here has to be the sewer manhole cover that attaches to a web effect.
The accessories here really create a lot of new/different scenarios to pose this Spider-Man in.
Finally, we’ve got the new Hasbro life-size Miles Morales wearable mask from the Spider-Man 2 video game. It’s good to play around with in the house, cosplay to an event, pop on its display stand or wear to a Halloween party.
I’m much more into the prop replica helmets like we got for Iron Man and Star-Lord a decade ago, but I think kids and adults into this kind of thing will really enjoy the electronic eye elements and movements here.
The mask looks really nice for display purposes, but I think it will be much more of a value for $139.99 for those who will use it for its intended play functions.
What do you think of Hasbro’s 2026 Spider-Man Day offerings, Marvel collectors? Will you be picking up any of these items? And do you want a movie Scorpion Legends figure after seeing him in the new film?
