Marvel Legends Target Three-Pack Released! Radioactive Man!

It’s been a very weird year for Hasbro Marvel Legends collectors. After kicking off the year in grandiose fashion with the Amazing Spider-Man Marvel Legends and Captain America Marvel Legends 2014 series, we got the X-Men Marvel Legends and Guardians of the Galaxy Marvel Legends in July. And, well… that’s it for the 2014 Marvel Legends figures. With one exception: announced at SDCC 2014, the Target Exclusive Marvel Legends three-pack of Marvel Legends Ms. Marvel, Captain America and Radioactive Man has now been released!

Marvel Legends 2014 Target Exclusive Three Pack Ms. Marvel Captain America Radioactive Man

After close to three months of anticipation, sightings of the long-awaited Marvel Legends Target exclusive three-pack set are coming in from all over the United States! From New England to Florida to the Midwest to the East, Hasbro Marvel Legends collectors are finding the exclusive Target set by the droves!

I’ve heard that most Target stores are holding this Marvel Legends three-pack set in the back right now for a future endcap, but some stores have stocked it right on the shelves already, while others have been willing to bring out boxes from the back. My Target store didn’t have the Marvel Legends Radioactive Man set yet, but Jason G. and Greg G. were nice enough to give me their photos to run of the released set. Thanks guys!

Target Marvel Legends Exclusive Set Captain America Ms Marvel Radioactive ManWhile scalpers have been picking up this set and selling it for $100+ on ebay as quickly as they can scoop it up, I’d advise that no one pay scalper prices for this particular box set. Target exclusive Hasbro toys almost always hit clearance, and this $50 MSRP set is not going to fly off the shelves at terminal velocity.

This may sound crazy coming from me, but I’m waiting for clearance on this Marvel Legends Ms. Marvel three-pack, and I think you should too (or pay retail at absolute most–but definitely not aftermarket prices on this set).

Marvel Legends Infinite Series Radioactive Man Three Pack Box BackWith this release, we can cross another one of the “stuck in limbo” Marvel Legends figures off the list: the Marvel Legends Radioactive Man figure that debuted way back at San Diego Comic Con 2013 has finally found its way out to retail stores! This will be the third figure from the Marvel Legends wave announced at SDCC 2013 to reach stores, as the Agent Venom and Jubilee Marvel Legends figures were both released this summer.

Will Blizzard, Batroc, Songbird and Tigershark ever see the light of day…? We can dream.

Of course, for the $50 price-point that Target is charging, Radioactive Man doesn’t come alone. He comes with a new and improved Marvel Legends Ms. Marvel figure, as well as a rehashed Marvel Legends Captain America figure that we all have a slightly different version of already.

Marvel Legends Target Three Pack Ms Marvel Captain America Radioactive ManIf you want to see if your local Target store has the Marvel Legends Ms. Marvel/Captain America/Radioactive Man three-pack in stock, you can call your local Target store and have them check their inventory (and the inventories of your other closest stores) using DPCI #087-06-1200. Some stores may tell you that the set has a street date and they won’t sell it to you, but be persistent–other collectors are having success buying this set all across the country.

Have you spotted the Radioactive Man Marvel Legends box set at your local Target store, Marvel collectors? Will you be scooping up this set at its retail price of $50, or will you be playing the long game (like me!) and trying to grab Ms. Marvel and company at a deep discount in a month or so?

    • I’m not sure how many will come per case, but this is a Target exclusive set and will be heavily produced. Even if you’ve had problems getting the regular series at your local Target, that shouldn’t be an issue here.

      • Yeah, called Target, made a run to 3 local stores, used the number by punching it into the price scanner(Hey,I learned something!never noticed those buttons before.) and found a helpful Redshirt who brought out the case of four,so I could pick the best paint on Carol. I noticed a majority with “fleshtone”paint flake around the thigh cuts and hip joints. Goldenrod;Orlando,Fla.
Btw:There Is Not a Street Date!
        I agree with Dabid.
Nobody out there pay these scalper prices!
        Unless you just wanna:free country.

      • Dabid, don’t you think a classic Cap figure would have been a much, much more satisfying option here?

  1. I picked up 2 sets at the Rockville, MD Target yesterday after using the DCPI code. They brought out the one sealed case the store received for me and it contained 4 sets – I got one for myself and one for a friend. Thanks for the DCPI code! From what their rep told me, most of the regional Targets had 4 in stock, which makes me think each store got one case in their initial shipments.

  2. Yeah.. When I called with the DCPI number, they said they had 4 in stock and was able to pick mine up, after they dug around in the stockroom for the case. Pretty good set, I didn’t get Ultimate Cap when he was out a year or so ago.. so 3 ML figures for $50 is a good deal.

  3. It’s finally on the Target website (out of stock). Go to the “find a store” section. That may help track em down.

Do NOT give in to scalpers!

  4. Store in New England had 3 sets,I got one,the others had horrible paint apps on the Ms. Marvel, the right thigh specificly on both.Other than that, good set.
    Enough Cap figs though.

  5. Same thing in Morgantown WV, they had 7 in the back so apparently 2 cases hit there and somebody already grabbed one. But they were nice enough to bring me out 4 to look through and the paint was decent on all but one. Check Ms Marvels upper thigh below the swivel but above the black boots. This is one big black plastic piece with the flesh tone painted over right above the boot so black is seeping through the flesh tone paint. Aside from that not much to look for. I’ve heard some of the Radioactive Man figs chest where the beige star is looks crackled like the spider on Agent Venoms chest so that may be something else to watch.

  6. Picked up the set yesterday. My 13 year old son is really happy with it but I just don’t feel like it’s a tremendously good value for the $55 dollar price after California sales tax is added on. Sure, Radioactive Man is a must have but Ms. Marvel is not real high on my want list and we already have the other Hasbro Ultimate Cap figure.
What do I think would have made this a better value? Either an additional unreleased villain such as Batroc, Tigershark or Blizzard in place of Carol Danvers, or a classic version of Captain America. Think about it, Hasbro has not released a classic Cap figure despite having released at least a half dozen versions of Cap in the last couple of years. The best Cap figure out there is the Toybiz Face-Off version that sells for $75 on eBay. The fact that it sells for so much indicates huge demand for Classic Cap among collectors and it would have been really easy for Hasbro to have done a classic Cap re-paint of Bucky Cap or US Agent.
To sum it up, Radioactive Man is a great new figure to add to our collection, Ms. Marvel is an improvement over our old Toybiz version (albeit not a very high priority one) and will replace her on the Avengers shelf, but the new Cap figure is a complete waste of crude oil and goes straight into the fodder bin. But a classic Cap figure would have made this set a complete, out of the ballpark, monster, grand slam which I would have been perfectly happy to have plunked down $50 plus for. As is, I don’t feel like it’s a great or even a good value for the money.
Am I wrong? What do people think, would classic Cap have made this a better set?

    • I agree with 99% of your statement. (I love my girl,Ms.Marvel.)Really wish her Bianary costume was made as a Legends.)
      However, Classic Cap is needed.
This one does come close though. Look at it like this:it’s a glass half-full situation. We got “classic”cap with extra stuff– Only the boots and winged cowl are missing for Cap’s classic look,so remove the harness and belts and your almost there. Imo,I love the shoulder harness;it works on the classic to modern movie Cap 2 look, like its the straps that hold the shield in place on his back. Put on the unmasked head and one can fudge it. Then its just the missing bucaneer boots. Ive got every Cap recently made in both scales and there are a few 1/18th size Classic Caps and with the A-list popularity of Cap, I don’t see Hasbro making such a huge mistake as not creating a classic winghead& bucaneer boots Captain America.
      Hang in there,sir. Happy collecting.

  7. I checked at a Canadian Target, that stock # does not work unfortunately. Does anyone know if we are getting that set out here?

    • Go to the Target site. They’re in online right now. You’re in Canada so you’ll most likely get charged for shipping (free in the states) but you can guarantee you set at least without succumbing to scalper prices.

      • Hey Rukkus, Great Idea, I hadn’t thought of that but when I tired I found that Target.com wont ship to Canada! What a shame, I will keep checking here and post if I find anything, cheers

  8. Thanks to all your advice above. It worked! I went to my nearest Target in Omaha, NE, and they had them, 4 of them, in a box. All I needed was the stock number and the friendly worker went back and brought them out. All of the paint jobs were bad but at least I could pick the best of them. Thanks again.

  9. Me encantan los packs de hasbro…sobre todo si traen alguna figura mejorada de su version antetior (ms.marvel) una figura nueva (radiactiveman) y capi….ya estoy cansado de ver capis spideys ironmans pero todo no se puede pedir

  10. This has nothing to do with marvel legends per say but Target. I just walked out of Target in Clarksburg WV and they’re stocking the entire Vader wave of 6 inch star wars black series figs. So no more running to 10 Walgreens in a toy run Target is now also carrying them (minus the prototype fett of course). Also they had plenty of the legends 3 packs and the black series shadow squadron sets! So happy hunting!
