Marvel Legends X-Force Deadpool HasCon Exclusive 6″ Figure!

For those who haven’t heard, Hasbro is kicking off their very own convention this year year, which will features all of their major brands like Transformers, My Little Pony, Star Wars, and of course, Marvel: HasCon. As this is a first time event, I haven’t been too sure what to make of HasCon, but what with it being an hour from my home, I’ll definitely be there. And now we know someone else who’ll be there: Deadpool! A 6″ Marvel Legends X-Force Deadpool figure will be exclusively released first at HasCon 2017!

HasCon Exclusive Marvel Legends X-Force Deadpool Figure

Just yesterday, I was talking about how off-guard I was taken that Hasbro was releasing the 12″ X-Force Deadpool as a Toys R Us exclusive and the Weapon X Deadpool as a mass release item.

Well, it looks like “exclusive” is going to be the name of the game for X-Force Deadpool this year, because the 6″ ML X-Force Deadpool has now been announced as a figure that will be available first exclusively at HasCon 2017 and then at later conventions!

This comes as a big surprise, as many collectors were anticipating that the SDCC 2017 Marvel Legends exclusives would be carried over to HasCon 2017 as shared exclusives, but it appears that Hasbro has something a bit more fresh and fun in the cards for the inaugural HasCon instead!

Whereas the Titans Return Arcee and Star Wars Black Series Captain Rex 6″ figure are timed exclusives that will be available at mass retail later on, the X-Force Deadpool figure will only be available at conventions.

HasCon Exclusive X-Force Deadpool 6 Inch FigureDespite being a limited convention-only exclusive, this 6″ Deadpool X-Force variant figure will be priced at the standard ML MSRP of $20 with no artificial inflation of the price going on because of the exclusivity factor. Hey, that sounds good to me!

HasCon takes place from September 8th-10th 2017, and I’ll be on-hand at the event all weekend long to provide coverage of any Marvel toy news or reveals that are made at the show. This will be Hasbro’s first chance to really impress collectors with their “fanmily” convention, so I have a hunch that Hasbro will be pulling out all the stops to make this inaugural con really special and fun! (For those interesting in attending, you can use promo code “FANMILY” to save $10-$20 off tickets until 7/30.)

How do you feel about the idea of the Marvel Legends X-Force Deadpool 6″ figure as a convention exclusive, Marvel collectors? Do you think this Uncanny X-Force Deadpool variant is too important to be limited in this manner, or do you think Hasbro is making the right choice with Wade Wilson’s secondary costume? And are you considering attending HasCon to score an exclusive X-Force Deadpool of your very own?

  1. So will this not be on HasbroToyShop.com?!??? Imagine what scalpers will want on eBay 😫.

    • It’s absolutely unfair for hasbro to make any figure a convention exclusive. What about the fans who are unable to travel for medical reasons? If I could travel I would be at every convention just to get the figures and to give someone the finger then leave becaus I hate conventions just for this reason.

  2. if you’re going, can you pick one up for me? I can’t make it to Rhode Island. I’ll pay for it and shipping of course. *grins with nervous hope*

    • Sorry guys, I can’t play favorites with readers. If I pick up one X-Force Deadpool for somebody, I’m gonna have 10,000 other requests (literally). I gotta stay out of this one. =/

  3. I’m still unhappy about the way that the A-Force boxed set was handled. Unless I missed news of it being available thru TRU or Hasbro later . . .

    • It was available on the TRU website on July 20th. It sold out very quickly. I believe there was even an update about hit on here.

  4. As a big Deadpool fan I hate that this is an exclusive. I had enough trouble getting Deadpool in his normal suit last year never mind trying to get an exclusive. I could try to get a ticket to Hascon but then that’s a big price to pay when all I care about is getting the exclusive. They should absolutely make it a wide release

  5. So I would assume that this is going to be available at NYCC? I sure hope so because I would much rather go to NYCC than Hascon or whatever.

    • Hasbro hasn’t had a booth at NYCC in many years, so it seems unlikely, but maybe this will be the year Hasbro finally has exclusives at NYCC again…?
