Just when it looked like the most exciting thing to happen to me Marvel collecting-wise this week was going to be finding the new Mysterio Berry Dr. Pepper, a photo leaked online Friday afternoon of a previously unannounced Marvel Legends 80 Years figure of what appeared to be a brand new Wolverine variant. Diamond Select Toys has been making Marvel Cinematic Universe characters as part of their line of Marvel Select figures almost from the beginning of the MCU, with only a handful of movies missing toys. Things have been a little bit quieter and a little bit bleaker for Minimates collectors since the untimely demise of Toys R Us last year, but Walgreens has picked up a lot of the slack and brought fans many Marvel Minimates packs that otherwise might never have been produced.
