Now that they’re finally ready to unveil all of their Avengers Age of Ultron figures, the collectible-manufacturing dynamo that is Funko is revealing their huge lineup of Avengers Age of Ultron toys at breakneck speed! Yesterday we learned about the Funko POP Vinyls for Avengers: Age of Ultron, and now Funko has solicited an even larger assortment of character in another line: the Funko Avengers Age of Ultron Mystery Minis are now up for order–including Hulkbuster Iron Man!

Oh yeah–I knew I was forgetting someone when I said that I figured we’d seen all of the major Avengers Age of Ultron toys that would be available at the movie’s launch. And that someone happens to be one of the hottest companies in the collectibles world: Funko! But have no fear, Funko is back to sieze your wallets: an all-new series of Avengers Age of Ultron POP Vinyls is now up for pre-order–including the first-ever Funko Hawkeye, Vision and Ultron figures!
UPDATE 1/21/2015: Hi-Res photos of the Funko Avengers 2 POP Vinyls have now been posted!

Did you rush to Entertainment Earth to pre-order their exclusive Funko Dancing Groot Ravagers POP! Vinyl figure, with the vibrant red pot for Baby Groot to sit in?
Well, if that repaint got you excited, another new Funko POP Vinyls Dancing Groot has been announced that will really get your adrenaline pumping: the Funko “I Am Groot” Dancing Groot POP! Vinyl exclusive figure!
Continue Reading →The Funko Guardians of the Galaxy POP! Vinyls lineup was wildly successful beyond Funko’s expectations, and that’s why Funko is expanding the line in 2015 with a quintet of villainous Guardians of the Galaxy Funko POP Vinyls to combat the team!
Coming in March 2015: Funko Yondu, Nebula, Ronan, the Collector–and a super-sized 6″ Funko Thanos POP! Vinyl figure are now up for order!
Continue Reading →Up until now, I’ve had a futile hope that the Funko Hikari Spider-Man series of vinyl sofubi figures would be a finite collection, easily completed by purchasing the half-dozen Spider-Man Hikari figures that debuted at SDCC 2014. After all, all four of the Funko Spider-Man Hikaris that have been released/announced for purchase up until now have been ones that premiered at SDCC. Unfortunately for our shelf space and our wallets, the fifth Spidey was announced today, and it’s one we’ve never seen before–the Funko Hikari Distressed Spider-Man is now up for order!
Continue Reading →Back in October, Funko shocked the Funko Hikari Sofubi Vinyl collecting world when they unveiled a whole display case of Funko Hikari Groot vinyl figures at New York Comic Con 2014. We didn’t have long to wait until the first one went up for pre-order the following week, but that was another shocker, as Funko announced the edition size on the standard Groot Hikari figure as 5000–by far the single largest run of any Hikari. It seems like Funko has come back down to Earth for their first Groot variant, though–the Funko Hikari Planet X Groot figure is limited to just 1000 and now up for order!
Continue Reading →Earlier this week, Funko dropped the bombshell that the first-ever exclusive Funko POP! Vinyls wave of unique characters was coming to Walgreens in January 2015, containing Venom, Spider-Man 2099, Black Suit Spider-Man and the Punisher. But if highly popular characters as retailer exclusives at a drug store is just too much excitement for you to handle, have no fear–plain old variants are coming to the rescue: a previously-unannounced Metallic Magneto Funko POP Vinyls figure has now been spotted!
Continue Reading →Last month, unpainted prototypes surfaced for a pair of previously unannounced Funko POP Vinyls figures that made me think that a Funko Spider-Man POP! Vinyls wave was in our near-future. And as it so happens, I was right–Funko officially announced a quartet of new 2015 Funko Marvel POP! Vinyls today! Of course, there is a little twist. See, this is going to be an exclusive wave of Funko POP Vinyls, and it’s not going to one of the usual retailer suspects like Target or Walmart: it’s the Walgreens Exclusive Funko Spider-Man 2099, Venom, Punisher, and Black Suit Spider-Man POP Vinyls!
Continue Reading →If there’s one thing out there that adult collectors love, it’s nonsensical variants of main characters like Spider-Man and Batman (right…?). Funko already conquered Batman fans’ wallets with a double-digit number of Funko Hikari Batman vinyl figure variants, and now they’re preparing to unleash their fourth Funko Hikari Spider-Man!
The colors don’t make much sense canonically, but he’s limited to just 500 pieces worldwide–the Funko Hikari Metal Mix Spider-Man figure is now up for order!
Continue Reading →The masters of Marvel exclusives are at it again! Even though the hotly-anticipated Funko POP! Vinyls Dancing Groot figure isn’t due to hit stores for a few more weeks, Funko already has the very first exclusive variant of the figure lined up.
This one is definitely a niche exclusive that won’t appeal to everyone, but if you’re a Groot completist, the Funko Ravagers Dancing Groot POP Vinyl exclusive figure is now up for order!
Continue Reading →Funko is a bit of an odd duck in the toy manufacturing business, as they regularly give away and sell prototypes of their figures–oftentimes before they even announce that they’re coming!
Last winter we learned about the Guardians of the Galaxy POP Vinyls from prototypes before they were announced, and this winter the trend continues: a Funko POP Vinyls Venom figure has been revealed in an online auction!
Continue Reading →The buzz surrounding the summer blockbuster hit Guardians of the Galaxy movie hasn’t even had a chance to quiet down, but already it’s time for the next (and last) Marvel movie of 2014: Big Hero 6! I’m not even close to being all-in on Big Hero Six merch until I see the movie, but there was no way I could resist the Amazon exclusive Funko Glow-in-the-Dark Baymax POP! Vinyls figure, which is sure to be another fast sell-out and quick riser on the aftermarket. Is this super-sized Funko POP vinyl balloon man worth your shelf space?
Continue Reading →If being a hardcore collector is akin to being an addict (and believe me, it sometimes feels like it is), then the latest form of “crack” to have me in its thralls is called “Funko Hikari”. The Japanese-inspired Funko Hikari Sofubi vinyl figures are way bigger and way more limited than Funko POP! Vinyls (with a way bigger price-tag to match). While Hikari only started to be released this summer, it’s definitely starting to catch on for Funko, and it’s about to become a whole lot more relevant for Marvel collectors, as the first Marvel Hikari was just released this month: Dangerous Spider-Man! Is this Spidey worth the “dangerous” investment he requires in both price and shelf space…?
Continue Reading →Whenever there’s a slow Marvel toys news week, I know there’s one company I can count on almost without fail to give me something to talk about. And once again, Funko doesn’t disappoint me. Just one week after their LE 1000 Dangerous Spider-Man Hikari figure went up for order, another of the Funko Hikari Spider-Man vinyl figures has appeared for sale! For the moment you’ve got to order from Australia if you want this one, but I have a hunch that the Funko Hikari New Dimension Spider-Man vinyl figure will be making his American debut shortly…
Continue Reading →In a world where many toy companies are showing off figures six months to a year (sometimes more) before those toys go up for sale, I’m always taken by surprise when Funko will pull something out of their hat and officially announce a new toy a couple of days before it’s supposed to be released. Generally these tend to be upcoming Marvel Funko POP! Vinyls, but this time the new Marvel figure comes from a less popular line: Wacky Wobblers Bobble-Heads. But hey, who better to get folks talking about a line than a Marvel character who won’t shut up: the Funko Deadpool Wacky Wobblers figure has now been released!
