Just when it looked like Kingpin was going to slaughter the competition for most-demanded Marvel Legends Build-A-Figure of 2019, Hasbro went and announced—and released!—a figure this week that fans have been asking for ever since Infinity War! You’ll have to pick up six figures from the Avengers Legends 2019 Wave 1 series to build him, so he won’t be cheap (in fact, he’s selling for about 100 bucks alone on the aftermarket!)—is the Marvel Legends Endgame Thanos figure worth all of the hype and expense it’ll take to acquire him?

I would definitely expect to see Ebony Maw and Ronin sell out very quickly as one-per-case movie figures, and Hercules may be popular as well. If those are the figures in this wave you’ve got your eye on, you might want to order now, as they’re ready to ship this week!
Continue Reading →All good things come to an end, and the end of my New York Toy Fair 2019 coverage is today! Earlier this week I looked at the MCU movie half of the Hasbro Marvel Legends 80th Anniversary Series, and today I’ve got the other half, which is composed entirely of classic comic book figures! Closing out my 2019 Toy Fair coverage, it’s Marvel Legends Juggernaut, Colossus, First Appearance Wolverine, Classic Thor and more!
Continue Reading →I’m finishing up my coverage of New York Toy Fair 2019 this week, and I’ve saved the best for last from Hasbro: the “80 Years of Marvel” Legends series! Composed of 17 total figures, I’ll split my previews between the comic and movie figures and focus first on the 10 Marvel Legends 80th Anniversary movie Figures—including Peggy Carter, Korg, Grandmaster, Iron Spider with Mecha-Legs and more!
Continue Reading →There was a great disturbance in the Marvel Legends collecting world this week, as what felt like millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror as their Amazon pre-orders for Professor X were unexpectedly mass-cancelled. That was definitely a bit of a surprise twist–but don’t worry, you can still get a PO for Xavier online from BBTS. But while we all re-order and wait for Professor X to arrive, let’s take a look at the final Riders figure for the year: Marvel Legends Ultimate WWII Captain America & Motorcycle!
Continue Reading →UPDATE 3/1/2019: It took almost exactly one month from the day she was released overseas, by the time Raven Darkholme fans have been waiting for has arrived! You can stop driving around looking for her now: the Exclusive Marvel Legends Mystique figure is now up for order online! Typically these Walgreens Exclusives tend to not last more than a day or so (or sometimes hours), so if you want her online for the sale price–now’s the time! [SOLD OUT as of 2:45PM EST! Hope everyone who wanted her got her!]
Continue Reading →I’m edging closer and closer to having discussed every new Marvel Legends figure that Hasbro has on display at New York Toy Fair 2019, and today I’m taking a look at not one, but two, waves that are heading our way this spring! Both series still have several figures (including the BAFs) mysteriously under wraps for an obvious reason—because it’s the Avengers Endgame Marvel Legends Series 1 & 2, including Shuri, Ebony Maw and more!
Continue Reading →Next up for discussion from the multitude of new series of Marvel Legends figures revealed by Hasbro at New York Toy Fair 2019 is the second (of most likely two) Spider-Man Marvel Legends series for the year! Whereas the first wave of the year had everyone buying it to get the Kingpin Build-A-Figure parts, I think every individual figure for this wave will be popular when pre-orders open up later this year…
Continue Reading →The Vintage X-Men Marvel Legends Series I discussed yesterday wasn’t the only heavily-rumored wave of figures that Hasbro officially confirmed at the 2019 Toy Fair over the weekend: the much-speculated 2019 Marvel Legends X-Force Wave is also coming to fruition with an eclectic group of characters including Nightcrawler, Cannonball, Mr. Sinister, Boom Boom and more!
Continue Reading →Now that I’m back home from NYC, I can really dig in and look at the enormous number of reveals that occurred at New York Toy Fair 2019. I’ll be discussing every company at length, but I know the one folks want to hear about most is Hasbro. I’ll begin with a series that was hotly-rumored and finally confirmed at the Hasbro media event over the weekend (minutes after the ML X-Men series with Beast, Gambit and Jubilee opened for PO): the Marvel Legends X-Men Vintage Series featuring Cyclops, Silver Samurai, Dazzler and more!
Continue Reading →Hey guys! I’m back from the New York Toy Fair 2019 Hasbro Media Presentation, which was one of the most mind-blowing experiences of my life–and that was just the opening song and dance number by the Hasbro higher-ups set to “Be Our Guest”! (Sadly, recording was expressly forbidden.) Anyway, I’ve taken over half a thousand hi-res Marvel Legends photos, which I’ll be uploading over the course of tonight to the Marvel Toy News Facebook, Instagram and Twitter Pages. Thanks and enjoy the coverage!

Earlier this year, rumors began swirling regarding an all-new unannounced series of Hasbro Marvel 80th Anniversary Marvel Legends Figures. I don’t like to comment on leaked news—especially with Toy Fair coming up fast—so I haven’t talked about those rumors up until now. But today, things changed—because they’re rumors no more! As announced during the Hasbro Investor Preview Event today, the new 80th Anniversary Marvel Legends figures series will be revealed at New York Toy Fair 2019 this weekend!
Continue Reading →Since I went with the crowd favorite and reviewed the new Marvel Legends Kingpin figure during the week, I thought I’d mix things up for my next review and feature a character that’s a little… less… famous. He’s a character never-before-made as an action figure (though Hasbro did release a PVC years ago), who will most likely be purchased primarily by collectors for the Kingpin’s torso: the Spider-Man Marvel Legends Puma figure is now in-stock online for retail price!
