Captain America The Winter Soldier Marvel Legends Figures Released

The latter half of 2013 may have been a quiet time for Hasbro Marvel Legends collectors, but in 2014 Hasbro is aggressively after our money like almost never before! First Hasbro released the Captain America Marvel Legends Infinite Series set with six figures (two of which being arguably the best army-builders Hasbro has ever produced), then Amazing Spider-Man 2 Marvel Legends hit with another six figures, and finally the Spider-Man Marvel Legends variants trio arrived a couple weeks ago.

Captain America The Winter Soldier Marvel Legends Black Widow Figure PackagedAnd now, less than two months into 2014, the second wave of Captain America Marvel Legends action figures are now hitting stores! This set contains the Captain America The Winter Soldier Marvel Legends figures of Black Widow, The Winter Soldier and Captain America 2 Cap. The three figures were sighted on the shelf at a Toys R Us in Arkansas, so it’s safe to say that the Captain America Marvel Legends 2014 Series 2 cases are now shipping to stores.

This brings the grand total to 18 Marvel Legends 6″ action figures released thus far in 2014. At 20 bucks a figure, that really adds up fast! If you’re buying one of every Marvel Legends figure released, that’s $360 + tax in 2014 already. Yikes!

Captain America The Winter Soldier Marvel Legends Winter Soldier Figure PackagedBlack Widow is packed at just one-per-case, with two Winter Soldier Marvel Legends figures and three Captain Americas in the same case. Obviously you do not want to pass up the Black Widow Marvel Legends figure at retail if you want her. I imagine that Stealth Captain America and the Winter Soldier will be comparatively easy to find within a few weeks, however.

Marvel Legends Winter Soldier Movie Figures Released! — 10 Comments

  1. I passed up on going to 2 of my local targets this morning, now im regretting it completely. I need to call them, yikes!

  2. Actually have the Black Widow (black variant) and Winter Soldier Marvel Legends 2 pack and a Captain America figure with the right colors. So, no. Once I have a figure I tend not to replace them unless it’s someone like Black Cat and the older figure is terrible. The only figures from this wave I bought were 2 A.I.M. agents and I may pick up Zemo since he’s a totally different character than the Mojo series Zemo I have. The Mandroid is a maybe since I literally have no memory of seeing one in any of the comics I’ve read but could rationalize it by saying Coulson is wearing the armor. If I buy it, Mandroid is an ebay purchase.

  3. Woot! Snatched up Wave 2’s of Cap AND Spider-Man Marvel Legends at local Target this morning. Used toysrus.com $13.99 price match on Red Skull and Baron Zemo. Found AIM and HYDRA soldiers at Walmart on Monday. Between the two lines, the only one I haven’t bought in store is Carnage and that’s only because I wasn’t planning on buying any of these and skipped it when I first saw it at Target in January. Have paid an average of $17.61 for all of these (ignoring some discounts and taxes), so I think I’ll be willing to pay up for Carnage later if I can’t get it in store.

  4. Where are these found? Target.com says my local stores have The Winter Soldier in stock, but the only ones on the shelve are the WW2 Cap which I really don’t care for. Neither Walmart near me had anything buy WW2 Cap either. Wish they were just online and easy to find. I’d go to Toys R Us, but the closest one is over an hour away 🙁

    • By now you know that Wave 2 Cap Winter Soldier has landed at Target. I brought a BW purchased at a Navy exchange & had Target customer service scan the barcode to verify they had them. Problem is the barcode to Target only represents part of an entire lot. In other words, she could not verify that Target had a BW in stock, only that there were 10 pieces of that set available. The good news is that they had just put out a fresh case, so I was able to track down a 2nd Black Widow! 🙂
