Last summer, Hasbro lit the Marvel collecting world ablaze with the runaway success of the Marvel Legends Sentinel HasLab figure, a project which obliterated all its stretch goals and netted an amazing 21,000+ backers. So it’s no surprise that Hasbro is back at it again this year with what’s beyond a doubt the most popular other hugely oversized character they could make: the 32” tall Marvel Legends HasLab Galactus figure has now been fully revealed, and the campaign is on to get 14,000+ backers and make this project a reality!

He was teased in hi-res form during a live stream a few months back, so he’s not coming out of the blue entirely: the classic-styled Marvel Legends Hercules Retro Series figure is now up for order! And for those fans, Hasbro has their own Marvel Legends WandaVision Scarlet Witch and Vision available now! These (particularly Wanda) seem to be selling out pretty quickly as they come into stock. It’s been nearly a half-decade since Hasbro released their SDCC 2016 Exclusive Sandman (Sand Form) figure and the subsequent Build-A-Figure version, and while both of those were pretty fantastic action figures, they are becoming quite expensive and difficult to hunt down on the aftermarket at this point. But a supervillain as cool and prominent as William Baker will not be denied a spot in newer collectors’ homes: a new Retro Spider-Man Marvel Legends Sandman figure is now up for order! Is this 2021 Sandman a worthy addition to the collections of new and old fans alike?

And so, it wasn’t a completely stunning development today when a GameStop Exclusive Marvel Legends Miles Morales Camouflage figure went up for order. But what did turn out to be pretty unexpected was that this isn’t a repaint at all–it’s an all-new, never-before-seen GamerVerse Miles Morales figure mold! Presumably we’ll get a regular painted iteration of this Miles Morales Spider-Man down the road, but for now, let’s have a look at the pretty clear blue version!

Oftentimes, Hasbro successfully uses a Marvel Legends Build-A-Figure as a proverbial carrot to entice collectors into buying an entire series of figures to build an essential character such as the Kingpin or Sauron. The subject of today’s review… is not one of those characters. The Marvel Legends Super Villains series is bringing us some of the most fan-demanded villains in toy form from across the Marvel Universe, but the BAF is easily the most obscure character in the whole wave. Even so, the Marvel Legends Xemnu Build-A-Figure is still selling for about 80 bucks on the aftermarket. Is this super-articulated niche figure worth those lofty prices?
