Earlier this week, I reviewed a Marvel Legends Build-A-Figure that I thought was solid overall but just a little bit boring: the Deadpool Legends Sasquatch BAF. Believe it or not, despite the fact that Bandai Tamashii has released well over a dozen S.H. Figuarts Iron Man figures, they’ve never released the iconic Mark 7 armor from the first Avengers movie—at least, not until now! Medicom hit the Marvel toy collecting world with a real curveball earlier this year, when the first-ever Marvel comic-based MAFEX figure that they put up for sale was the newcomer Gwenpool. Whenever I mention Gwenpool, I tend to preface it with “I don’t really like this character”.
