Marvel Legends Netflix Luke Cage & Claire Temple Pack Online!

Netflix fans got a big surprise back in June, when a totally unannounced Marvel Legends Netflix Luke Cage and Claire Temple two-pack unexpectedly appeared at retail internationally. Hasbro eventually officially announced the set at SDCC 2018 in July, but it’s flown under the radar since. But for those looking to complete their Netflix series, the time has come: the exclusive Netflix Marvel Legends Luke Cage & Claire Temple set is now available online with free shipping!

While Hasbro completed the core team of Defenders with their San Diego Comic Con 2018 Exclusive set (which included Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Colleen Wing), not every collector who wanted a Luke Cage wanted to buy that whole box set—or wanted Cage wearing his less iconic red shirt.

But have no fear, the beloved yellow shirt is finally available without importing for collecting in the United States, as the Claire Temple and Yellow Shirt Luke Cage Box set has finally arrived via Walmart’s website! (I haven’t seen or heard any reports of this set appearing in Walmart brick-and-mortar stores just yet, but presumably it’ll be available in actual stores as well as being online.)

Walmart Exclusive Luke Cage Marvel Legends Figure Yellow ShirtWhile the Luke Cage figure is a 100% repaint of the one in the SDCC set, I’m confident that the majority of fans are going to prefer him in yellow. He can stand in as an adequate comic-based version as well in the yellow shirt, for those who don’t already have a comic version Cage.

Marvel Legends Claire Temple Netflix FigureMeanwhile, Claire Temple hasn’t been available anywhere else before (although obviously she does utilize existing tooling). She gets five accessories, including a purse and interchangeable gloved and clawed weapon hands (in addition to her normal hands).

Marvel Knights Legends Netflix Luke Cage Claire Temple FiguresClaire doesn’t exactly get a ton of action sequences in the shows, but as she’s a civilian character, I can understand Hasbro wanting to pack her with the claws from that one episode to make her a bit more appealing action-wise.

2019 Marvel Legends Kingpin Build-A-Figure Spider-ManI don’t think there’s anyone out there who’s a Netflix MCU fan and not hoping to see a Vincent D’Onofrio Kingpin figure, so hopefully we do eventually end up seeing that very fan-demanded character. In the meantime, we’ll have to make do with the Spider-Man Legends Kingpin Build-A-Figure coming out in early 2019.

Netflix Marvel Legends Luke Cage and Claire Temple Official PhotoThe Marvel Knights Legends Claire Temple and Luke Cage set is now available online with free shipping, and is in-stock and arriving within 2 business days to most areas. My Walmart is frankly a ghost town, so I’m pretty pleased to just order my pack with a button click and wait for it to arrive later this week without having to run around spending time and gas looking for it.

Now that it’s finally available domestically, is this Marvel Legends Netflix exclusive two-pack a “buy” or “no buy” for you? Would you like to see Iron Fist and Colleen Wing get re-released in a similar two-pack, and what other characters (besides Kingpin) would you like to see added to enrich this collection?

Marvel Legends Netflix Luke Cage & Claire Temple Pack Online! — 13 Comments

  1. Luke and Claire are an ‘already bought’ for me.
Two-pack Colleen and Danny from IF2.
Netflix Misty with interchangeable arms: human, first edition Maserati arm, second edition blinged-out arm.
    MAFAME GAO!!!

  2. I’d be down for an IRON FIST Danny/Colleen two-pack, if only to properly round out the Defenders. Or, almost preferably, a Danny single-pack (which I’m sure would warm pegs, thereby making it easy to find) and a Colleen/Misty two-pack, with two swords for Colleen and two arms for Misty.

Kingpin, Killgrave, and Davos are the most obvious candidates after the Defenders are filled out. Is there a preference for a LUKE CAGE villain? Do Mary Walker or Billy Russo warrant the plastic treatment yet? Do we need Trish Walker or Micro? Or would we be done with Netflix, by that point?

      • Should they wait to see if Trish evolves into a hero of her own? Not that I’m opposed to a Trish figure, I like the character, but I wonder if adding another figure in civilian clothes to a subsection full of figures in civilian clothes is wise 🙂

A little off-topic…but I wonder if they’ll eventually tie Trish and Mary together as sisters or cousins or something. Would definitely be off-book, but it just seems too obvious.

  3. I like the Luke figure. With Claire, I feel like the outfit is awfully bland and the likeness could be better. at least she comes with a few accessories.

  4. Ordered this earlier this week. The hunt for this kinda got me back into Marvel Legends since the Toybiz days. Also how I found this site. 😊 I wish Luke came with a bullet ridden hoodie or a hoodie in general. Also ordered a Iron Fist from the Dormammu BOF wave. I would have preferred Iron Fist with Cage but also excited to have a Rosario Dawson action figure 😍

  5. Spoiler Alert? I’ve only watched the second season of Daredevil and the Defenders, but what’s with the blue hands that come packed with Claire? Does she have power now?

My local Walmarts are so bad at stocking exclusives, I’m glad I can order online now. I’ve NEVER seen any of the exclusives in the stores…or there are one or 2 scalpers that keeps wiping out my local Walmarts. Either way, thank you for the headsup.

I’ll feel very cheated if they ever make a Colleen and Danny 2-pack, as they were the only reason why I flop down the money to get that overpriced Defenders exclusive box set from Hasbrotoyshop.com.
