“Justice, Like Lightning…!” If those words don’t mean anything to you, then you’re probably in the majority of collectors who are scratching their heads at this release from the first wave of Avengers Legends 2010 figures. Whether you know him or not, you’ll need to buy the Marvel Legends Citizen V figure if you want his Armored Thanos Build-A-Figure piece—but is the original Thunderbolts leader a worthwhile figure in its own right?
Continue Reading →The first two Avengers Endgame Marvel Legends figures that I previously reviewed—Ronin and the Armored Thanos Build-A-Figure—were both overall solid figures with a few faults holding them back. But the third and final ML Endgame figure in this Wave is one I’ve had to gather up the motivation to review at all. Hasbro is hoping that we’ll all buy multiples of the Marvel Legends Endgame Captain America figure—but is this a figure that collects will want to own any of?
Continue Reading →Earlier this week I talked about the trio of resin statues that Iron Studios is kicking off their range of Avengers Endgame products with. But while three is an impressive launch number, seven is even better! Diamond Select Toys has the start of their expansive lineup of Avengers Endgame statues of their own now up for order—including Marvel Gallery PVC figures, Marvel Premier Collection resin statues, and even a rather spectacular-looking large Marvel Milestones Thanos!
Continue Reading →Competition is fast and furious in the world of Marvel statues, but there’s one company who stood above all the rest when it came to resin statues for Infinity War: Iron Studios, who produced well over a dozen pieces for the movie in their value-priced 1:10 scale Battle Diorama Series! And it looks like they’re at it again for Avengers Endgame, as their first 3 statues for the movie are now up for order: Armored Thanos (in two flavors!) and the first-ever Nebula and Ronin statues!
Continue Reading →While the Armored Thanos Series is technically the first Avengers Endgame Marvel Legends wave of Hasbro action figures, there’s not a whole lot going on so far as characters actually from the movie go. In fact, there’s just two single-packed figures from Endgame in the wave: Captain America and the subject of today’s review. Hawkeye’s absence was keenly felt in Infinity War, but now he’s back with an all-new persona: should you add the Marvel Legends Ronin figure to your collection? Here’s my review…

But for their next launch, they’re throwing us a curveball in the form of a long-demanded supporting character getting her first (and almost certainly only) 1/6 MMS ever: the Hot Toys Nebula figure is now up for order! Should you make space for Thanos’ other daughter to join your collection…?
Continue Reading →Just when it looked like Kingpin was going to slaughter the competition for most-demanded Marvel Legends Build-A-Figure of 2019, Hasbro went and announced—and released!—a figure this week that fans have been asking for ever since Infinity War! You’ll have to pick up six figures from the Avengers Legends 2019 Wave 1 series to build him, so he won’t be cheap (in fact, he’s selling for about 100 bucks alone on the aftermarket!)—is the Marvel Legends Endgame Thanos figure worth all of the hype and expense it’ll take to acquire him?
Continue Reading →Many collectors of the Bandai Tamashii S.H. Figuarts like awoke today to some rather disappointing news: the Bandai SH Figuarts Avengers Endgame figures had launched overnight on all of the usual import sites–and promptly sold out from most of them! While certain figures like Ronin and Black Widow have remained available here and there on various sites, one figure predictably sold out instantaneously across all of them. Luckily, he’s getting a U.S. release for a reasonable price: the SH Figuarts Endgame Thanos figure is now up for order online in the US!
Continue Reading →Now that the embargo on Avengers Endgame toys has lifted, the dam has burst and info on the merch for the movie is flooding in! While there’s ample news on offerings from smaller-scale lines like Marvel Legends, LEGO, Marvel Gallery and SH Figuarts, high-end collectors haven’t been forgotten! The first of what’s sure to be many MMS figures from the movie were revealed over the weekend, and the Hot Toys Endgame Thanos and Iron Man Mark 85 figures are now up for order!

But for the Avengers Endgame POPs, Funko has actually found something new that even they have never done before: in addition to all of the “usual” exclusives, a way to make exclusives out of every one of the 11 non-exclusive POP figures in the series: the EE Exclusive Funko POP Avengers Endgame figures with Collector Cards are now up for order!
Continue Reading →Medicom had a big surprise for X-Men collectors last month prior to New York Toy Fair 2019, when they unexpectedly debuted a Jim Lee Cyclops MAFEX 6” figure at the Winter Wonder Fest in Japan. We hadn’t heard or seen any new updates about that prototype in over a month, but the blackbird has landed today: the Medicom MAFEX Cyclops Figure has now been fully revealed and is up for order! And this version will definitely be giving Hasbro’s a run for its money…
Continue Reading →Of all the remaining Marvel comic book villains yet to be captured in 1:4 scale statue form by any major company, X-Men villain Juggernaut is at the very top of the list. And now, the Sideshow Exclusive Juggernaut Statue (with Kitty Pryde EX!) goes up for order today… but will the Unstoppable Juggernaut be stopped by a startling price-tag?
Continue Reading →I was away at Emerald City Comic Con 2019 all last week, but luckily I didn’t miss much, as it’s been ridiculously quiet on the Marvel toy news front. In fact, you could probably see a tumbleweed blow past while the many toy companies out there wait for the okay to reveal their onslaught of Avengers Endgame collectibles. But while there’s still nothing new to report, we’ve got a real blast from the past appearing online: a half dozen-plus previously sold-out Exclusive Marvel Select figures have popped up online–at clearance prices!
