I had to do a double-take this morning when I saw that the very first Marvel San Diego Comic-Con 2018 exclusives had been revealed, as it looks like SDCC is swiftly sneaking up on us again! When Hot Toys debuted their lineup of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 lineup of Movie Masterpiece Series sixth scale figures last year, many fans who missed out on the team from the first movie or who just wanted upgrades rejoiced. But over a year later, two of those prototypes had yet to be put up for sale. Medicom hit the Marvel toy collecting world with a real curveball earlier this year, when the first-ever Marvel comic-based MAFEX figure that they put up for sale was the newcomer Gwenpool.
