If some hoodlum ever stopped me on the street and demanded at gunpoint to know what my favorite line was that I saw among the hundreds of new toys at the 2015 Toy Fair in February, I’d be able to answer without much thought all all: Funko Hikari. And while most of the Hikari at the show that caught my eye were Star Wars-themed, a whole assortment of Hulks debuted there as well. The Cavalry has arrived!! Heading into New York Toy Fair 2015 this weekend, I didn’t have a lot of hope for seeing many new Marvel POP! Vinyls, as Funko just revealed eight Funko Avengers Age of Ultron POP Vinyls last month. And on my first visit to the Funko booth at NY Toy Fair 2015, the only new item I saw was the Deadpool Chimichanga Truck. But once I flipped through the catalog at my hotel, I realized one more new Marvel POP! was at the show: the Funko Melinda May from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.!

The king of exclusive figures is at it once again! This week, photos leaked out of the Phillipines of a variety of announced–and unannounced–exclusive Funko POP Vinyls figures scheduled to be released this spring. Some of these are figures that we had heard rumors of, and some of them are totally unexpected. But on the Marvel side of things, we’re now able to see three exclusive variant Funko Marvel POP Vinyl figures for the first time: Black Costume Storm, Unmasked Cyclops and Captain America Unmasked!

While Funko has traditionally kept their comic book movie lines of POP Vinyl figures reasonably small, after the runaway success of last year’s Guardians of the Galaxy POP! Vinyls, Funko has started to think big! As such, even though the movie isn’t even out yet, Funko already has twelve Avengers Age of Ultron POP Vinyls figures either already in stores or on the way! As it turns out, there really are six core members of the Avengers team in Avengers: Age of Ultron. When toy companies started unveiling their Avengers Age of Ultron toys and there were few Black Widow figures to be found, there was an outcry for more Black Widow merch. Well, Hasbro announced a new Marvel Legends Black Widow and the Marvel Select Black Widow figure debuted at the 2015 New York Toy Fair, and that left only one gaping omission… which has now been filled. Rides Deadpool Chimichanga Truck set was in the works earlier this winter, I would have written it off as a ridiculous rumor if it hadn’t come from the president of Funko himself. Funko has thrown Marvel collectors a true curveball today, when they announced that the insanely-anticipated Avengers Age of Ultron Funko Hulkbuster Iron Man POP! Vinyls figure will not be available at regular, mass-market retail stores. In fact, you can’t outright buy the Funko POP Hulkbuster Iron Man figure anywhere. The only way to get the exclusive Hulkbuster Iron Man Funko POP Vinyl figure will be by purchasing the first-ever Marvel Collector Corps Box, coming in April 2015!

Among the many, many new product lines that Funko launched in 2014, my absolute favorite is the Funko Fabrikations line of plush vinyl figures. Going into the Guardians of the Galaxy movie release last summer, everyone (including me) had pegged Rocket Raccoon as the character who would be the breakout star of the film. Things didn’t work out that way. Instead, Groot (and Dancing Baby Groot) ended up claiming the hearts and minds of millions of moviegoers in 2014–as well as the bulk of new collectibles shown off since the movie’s premiere.
