Earlier this week, Hot Toys posted a teaser of six Infinity Stones-colored lights twinkling on a star background. I joked that it would be cool if it was a life-size Infinity Gauntlet prop replica that they were teasing. Well, to my astonishment… it is! A couple weeks back, we got our first packaged look at the latest addition to the series of Walmart Exclusive Marvel Legends: Thanos with Infinity Gauntlet! With the big launch date for the Avengers Infinity War toys coming up on March 3, many surmised we’d be seeing this comics-based Thanos figure in stores on or around that date. Magneto is hands-down one of the most popular and legendary Marvel villains ever, and has had an appropriately large number of statues released to match his reputation. The thing is, most of those large statues are long sold-out and astronomically-priced on the aftermarket, and not everyone can afford a $700 Sideshow Magneto. With the “obvious” selections of ONE:12 Collective Homemade Suit Spider-Man and movie Black Panther being revealed in the buildup to New York Toy Fair 2018, I really wasn’t sure what I’d be seeing added to the Marvel ONE:12 Collective series walking into the Mezco Toyz booth at the show.
