Daniel Bel only joined the Sideshow Collectibles team within the last year, but already he’s becoming one of Sideshow’s hottest rising star sculptors. And far and away, his most hyped Marvel piece thus far is also his latest to be unveiled! When collectors first saw it, I saw a TON of “Day One PO!” and “Instant Grail!” comments posted—now that the Sideshow Exclusive Thor Breaker of Brimstone Statue is actually up for order, are you thinking about buying it?

Continuing to recap the cornucopia of new Avengers Infinity War toys and statues that have gone up for order this month, today I’m looking at one of the newer companies on my radar. Iron Studios has gone to the Avengers Infinity War well more than any other statue maker thus far with not one, not two, not three, not four, but FIVE new statues from the movie solicited in the past month: the Infinity War Iron Studios Captain America, Falcon, War Machine, Thor and Winter Soldier statues are all up for order now!

I haven’t heard anything about this helmet getting a full reissue from Hasbro, so this may well be the last chance to grab this for a decent price if you need it!

As expected, Wasp and Ant-Man are the two double-packed figures! Now that you’ve seen Avengers Infinity War (and if you haven’t, get to it!), have you decided if you will be building the Cull Obsidian Build-A-Figure?
It’s taken about a month for it to happen, but most Hasbro collectors have managed to build the Thanos Build-A-Figure put together their Marvel Legends Infinity War Wave 1 sets by now. There’s no rest with the movie on the horizon, though, as Wave 2–the Cull Obsidian Series is coming up fast! And while we don’t have a pre-order or release date yet for the series, packaged photos of the entire set (including Marvel Legends Infinity War Thor and Black Widow!) appeared online this week…
Continue Reading →The days when collectibles companies have to keep their Avengers Infinity War toys hidden are at an end, and Hot Toys is finally ready to obliterate our future wallets! In honor of finally being able to sell toys from the movie today, Hot Toys has not one, but two new sixth scale figures ready to go: the Hot Toys Infinity War Thor and Iron Man 1/6 figures are now up for order!
Continue Reading →For a long time now, the God of Thunder has had to stand idly by while his Avengers comrades like Captain America, Iron Man, and Spider-Man get all of the love in Good Smile Company Nendoroid super-deformed form. But no longer! The last member of the Avengers’ “Big 3” is finally getting his own day in the sun, in his gladiator armor from his latest movie: the Nendoroid Thor Ragnarok Gladiator Thor figure is now up for order! And oh yeah, there’s a Q-Fig too…

But the huge sales numbers on these sets are no joke, and the theme will be continuing into next year with a new wave of characters and vehicles—the LEGO Marvel 2018 Mighty Micros sets (including Scarlet Spider, Sandman and more) have now been revealed!
Continue Reading →Earlier today I posted about the Mezco ONE:12 Collective Gladiator Thor figure—but Mezco Toyz isn’t the only company soliciting their premium Thor Ragnarok 6” figures to coincide with the movie’s launch week! After their world premiere at NYCC 2017 last month, the SH Figuarts Thor Ragnarok Hulk and Thor figures are now up for order! But even though Bandai Japan is bringing this pair to the United States, don’t expect them (especially Hulk) to be cheap…

To coincide with the movie’s release, this week is one of the final big pushes for Thor 3 merchandise, with several companies putting major items up for sale. And one of those items is likely to claim the crown of “Best 6” Gladiator Thor” in the land—the Mezco ONE:12 Collective Gladiator Thor figure is now up for order!
Continue Reading →Hot Toys has been unusually quiet the past few months, although I think that’s more just them gearing up for a crazy taters number of Infinity Wars figures than a showing of mercy on our wallets. But after over a month without a single new Hot Toys Marvel sixth scale figure, the wait for the next pre-order is at an end! Joining the enormous Gladiator Hulk MMS that went up for sale in July, the Hot Toys Gladiator Thor is now up for order in regular and deluxe versions!
Continue Reading →Last month, Diamond Select Toys took me off guard when they solicited Marvel Gallery PVC statues of Gladiator Hulk and Valkyrie from Thor Ragnarok, but not a new figure of the titular character himself. This month, DST has surprised me even more by opening pre-orders for a Marvel Gallery Thor Ragnarok statue of the Thunder God himself–but one that’s in his regular costume and not a companion piece to Gladiator Hulk at all…
Continue Reading →While the upcoming MCU movie this fall may be called “Thor Ragnarok”, the characters everyone is interested in talking about are Hela, Hulk, Loki and Valkyrie, with the titular character nowhere to be found. So it’s not a big surprise that, even in his own 6″ figure series, the Marvel Legends Gladiator Thor figure is readily available for MSRP and easy as pie to find online. But while he’s not exactly a hot commodity, it turns out that this 6″ Gladiator Thor Ragnarok figure is one of best figures in the wave…
Continue Reading →Sometimes figure re-releases end up being a disappointment, as the demand for a reissued figure ends up being less than the manufacturer thought and the toy ends up rotting off the pegs. This is not one of those times. Collectors have been calling out for a re-release of Marvel Legends Ares Build-A-Figure for years and paying $100+ for him in the meantime. Hasbro has heard fans’ cries and responded–with the new and improved Thor Ragnarok Marvel Legends Ares figure!
