After Ultron no-showed Toy Soul 2014 last month and only new versions of old characters were shown at the event, some collectors had trepidations about exactly what the Hot Toys Avengers Age of Ultron sixth scale figure line was going to be composed of. However, today Hot Toys stepped in with a monumental teaser that alleviates those concerns: while we will be getting new Hot Toys Age of Ultron figures of the core six Avengers, Hot Toys Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Vision and Ultron figures are all confirmed now as well!

With all of the amazing new sixth scale figures that Hot Toys debuted at the 2014 Toy Soul event in Hong Kong, it seems a bit ungrateful to be disappointed about something that Hot Toys didn’t show at the event. Against all odds and expectations, Hot Toys announced earlier this week that they would be debuting the insanely-anticipated Hot Toys Hulkbuster Iron Man and Thanos figures at the Hong Kong Toy Soul 2014 event this week.

We had to wait a couple hours for the event to officially begin before they were put on display, but Hot Toys was true to their word: the Hot Toys Thanos and Hulkbuster Iron Man sixth scale figures are in the house!

Hot Toys has managed to take us totally off-guard with many surprise announcements over the course of this year. But their latest product reveal has been, well… not exactly a closely-guarded secret. Starting at San Diego Comic Con 2014 and continuing throughout the summer and fall, Hot Toys has been “sneakily” leaving an Iron Man 3 Hot Rod Iron Man Hot Toys figure in the display cases at most of the events that they’ve exhibited at. Today, Hot Toys posted a photo of the next Hot Toys products that are about to ship out in Asia, and will be hitting the United States 4-6 weeks after that. The update includes four Marvel Hot Toys sixth scale figures (that are still available for order), some of which we’ve been waiting for for close to a year and a half! Finally arriving in our hands this winter: the Hot Toys Star-Lord, Falcon, Igor Iron Man and Starboost Iron Man!

Well, this is new. We’ve learned about Marvel Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece Series sixth scale figures in a variety of ways before, but I am reasonably sure that this is the first time a new Hot Toys Marvel figure has ever been revealed via… small sticker on the front of a Japanese Blu-Ray (does that make the X-Men Days of Future Past Blu-Ray a must for Hot Toys collectors? I wonder…). The Hot Toys X-Men Days of Future license was announced way back in 2013, and it looks like in 2015 Hot Toys may actually have a figure lined up for us–the Hot Toys Days of Future Past Wolverine figure!
