There’s one more recent Marvel Select release from Diamond Select Toys that I’ve been dying to talk about, and with the usual weekend news drought, now seems like the perfect time to do so. The Marvel Select Drax movie figure had a multitude of features that held it back, but this other GOTG Vol. 2 two-pack is a totally different story. Is the Marvel Select Star-Lord & Rocket Raccoon two-Pack worth your 23 bucks, or are you better off sticking with the Legends versions?

Diamond Select Toys’ Marvel Gallery statues line exploded in 2017, with both the number of value-priced statues available and the line’s maistream profile growing exponentially. But one thing the line was lacking—with two key exceptions—was representation for the X-Men. But the DST Old Man Logan and Phoenix figures won’t have to be lonely for much longer—the 2018 Marvel Gallery Savage Land Rogue Statue has now been revealed!

I felt pretty bad kicking off the week by having to strike down the Marvel Select Drax movie figure (which I genuinely did want to love), so I thought today I’d move another DST figure to the top of the review queue—this time, one I had a much better feeling about! We’ve gotten plenty of Spider-Man Homecoming Tech Suit Spidey figures from various companies—but are any as good as the under $25 Marvel Select Homecoming Spider-Man figure?

Diamond Select Toys only releases around a dozen total Marvel Select action figures per year, so ordinarily they put their best foot forward and seldom disappoint. But to my dismay, one of the first releases of 2018 looked like it was going to be a rare misfire based off of the final packaged photos. My Marvel Select Drax and Baby Groot Figures I ordered online finally arrived this week—were my fears for naught, or is the DST Drax ultimately a letdown?

We’ve been waiting almost the entire year for the Marvel Select Spider-Gwen and Guardians of the Galaxy figures to hit stores, and the time is finally almost upon us! After a consistent downpour of new Marvel Gallery statues being announced most of the year by Diamond Select Toys, new solicitations have slowed to a drizzle recently. But it looks like the storm is picking up again—!
