I went out this morning to pick up this week’s comic books and search for the Amazing Spider-Man 2 & Captain America Marvel Legends 2014 figures, and for a nice change my search wasn’t totally in vain. I stumbled across a full case of the Captain America: The Winter Soldier Marvel Legends figures on the pegs (and yes, I bought all a full set to review this month), as well as the full assortment of Hasbro Super Soldier Gear Captain America: The Winter Soldier 3 3/4″ figures. And hey, these Marvel Universe-scale Winter Soldier figures aren’t all bad…

The portent of this impending doom…? Hasbro is actually going to be releasing some of their notorious-for-never-coming-out Marvel Legends variant figures. Ebay listings have turned up for the Spider-Man Marvel Legends Boomerang, Toxin and Spider-Girl figures, confirming that these figures are in fact currently in production and should be released in a few months time…

After a long drought of news regarding the Avengers Infinite Series 3 3/4″ line (which was replaces the Hasbro Marvel Universe line in 2014), in the past two weeks we’ve learned virtually everything there is to know about Avengers Infinite Series 1. A confirmed lineup and hi-res images appeared during the holidays, and today Hasbro is allowing retailers to take orders for Avengers Infinite Series 1 figures and cases, thus revealing the case ratios! The K-Mart website is one of my favorite sources for obtaining early images of new LEGO sets for my LEGO blog, so them posting new toy photos early (and often before they’re allowed to do so) is nothing new. Not to pile on all the bad news at once, I decided to hold off for a day before spreading a bit more gloom. Remember all those Marvel Legends running changes we’ve been waiting for (some of which for over a year), like the Marvel Legends Dani Moonstar and Red Deadpool variants?
