Marvel Select Winter Soldier Figure Exclusive Revealed & Photos

Disney Store Exclusive Marvel Select The Winter Soldier Figure

Does the dearth of new comic-inspired Marvel Select figures in 2013 got you down? Thus far, Diamond Select Toys has released zero comic book-based Marvel Select figures in the second half of 2013, as all of the recent figures have been based on Marvel movies like “The Wolverine”, “Iron Man 3” and “Thor: The Dark World”.

But this morning DST announced the cure for what ails comic-based Marvel fans: an all-new Marvel Select Winter Soldier figure–and surprise–he’s coming in December 2013!

Marvel Universe Titan Hero Series Target Exclusive Sets on Sale!

Titan Hero Iron Man Mark 2 Figure Exclusive Target

When Hasbro got back into the 12″ action figure business this year, their efforts didn’t necessarily light the collecting world aflame with impressed fans. Even so, the Hasbro Marvel Universe Titan Hero Series of large-scale action figures fills a niche that’s otherwise gone unfilled recently–that of cheap big figures for kids to collect.

I’d be lying if I said I was paying a ton of attention to these figures, but two Target exclusive sets that are now on sale did catch my eye over the weekend…

Wolverine Legends Puck Series Figures Released w/ Emma Frost!

Hasbro Wolverine Legends Series Puck Build A Figure Released

Slowly but surely, the last 2013 Hasbro Marvel figures are finding their way to retail! Though the Wolverine Legends Puck Series of Marvel Legends 6″ figures missed the theatrical release of “The Wolverine” movie by two months, this series of Wolverine Marvel Legends figures never really had anything to do with the movie to begin with (other than the fact that Wolverine stars in both). Instead, this 6″ Wolverine Legends action figure series features some of the most-wanted Hasbro 6″ figures, including Emma Frost. Unfortunately, if you want these figures–particularly Emma–it’s going to cost you…

Funko Thor The Dark World Thor with Helmet POP Vinyls Hot Topic Exclusive Figure

You never know what you’re going to find while walking around New York Comic Con, but one thing I definitely wasn’t expecting any of the dealers at NYCC 2013 to have at the show was something that I hadn’t seen before (because, you know–I’m pretty well-informed). Even so, one of the dealer booths at last weekend’s 2013 NYCC managed to surprise me by having a few Funko POP! Vinyls I hadn’t seen before, including the fabled Funko Thor The Dark World Thor with Helmet POP Vinyl figure…

NYCC 2013 Zombie Magneto Mini Bust Exclusive Gentle Giant LTD

Gentle Giant Marvel Bust collectors went into San Diego Comic-Con 2013 with certain expectations for what characters we might see added to the Marvel Mini Bust line, with certain heavy-hitters like Thor: The Dark World busts and Iron Fist and so forth in mind. What actually debuted at SDCC is a bust I suspect no one was expecting: the Gentle Giant Zombie Magneto Marvel Zombies bust! It’s only been a couple months since the reveal, but the exclusive Marvel Zombies Magneto bust will be up for sale in just one week at New York Comic Con 2013!

Iron Man 3 Hall of Armor Action Figure Set Amazon Exclusive with Tony Stark Figure

I’ve been wondering since the summer when Amazon was going to get around to posting the pre-orders for their exclusive Hasbro Iron Man 3 Hall of Armor figures set. Well, it turns out that evidently they never put pre-orders up for their exclusive set because they weren’t going to have them.

UPDATE: The Iron Man 3 Hall of Armor 4″ six figure set is now back in-stock on Amazon and ready to ship!

Funko Loki Black & White Exclusive POP! Vinyl Figure Announced!

Loki Funko Exclusive POP! Vinyl Thor 2 Black & White

From what I’ve heard, the Loki POP! Vinyl figure that is part of the Funko Thor: The Dark World POP! Vinyls series of figure bobble-heads is far and away the best seller in the bunch. This is hardly a shocker, as the previous POP! Vinyls Loki figures are outrageously expensive and hard-to-get on the aftermarket. What is a bit unexpected is that we’re getting a just-announced exclusive Funko Black and White Loki POP! Vinyl variant for next month’s Comikaze 2013!

SH Figuarts Black Iron Man Tamashii Nations 2013 Exclusive Figure

Sometimes knowing too much about collecting can be a real drag. Case in point being when you you see the term “Tamashii Nation Exclusive” and instantly let out an audible groan because you know how expensive those are to obtain.

Such is what happened today, when I saw the Tamashii Nation Exclusive Iron Man Mark VI Black Ver. figure announced for release in Japan this November…

Peter Parker POP Vinyls Bobble Head Exclusive Comikazee Expo

Ever since I posted leaked photos from the new Funko book that was out on display at San Diego Comic-Con 2013, I’ve been wondering when and where the elusive Peter Parker Funko POP! Vinyl figure would make itself known. Well, it’s taken several months, but now we know for certain–the Funko Peter Parker POP! Vinyls Bobble-Head figure will be available exclusively at Stan Lee’s Comikazee Expo in Los Angeles, from November 1-3, 2013!

NYCC 2013 Agents of Shield Badge Prop Replica Exclusive Agent Phil Coulson

Sad but true: There are not a ton of great Marvel exclusives for New York Comic Con 2013. There’s that awesome Funko Stan Lee POP! Vinyls figure announced a few weeks back, but that’s really it for Marvel toys collectors. LEGO is not attending NYCC 2013, and Diamond Select Toys has confirmed they won’t be bringing any Marvel Minimates NYCC 2013 exclusives. So Marvel collectors will definitely have some extra cash to burn at New York Comic Con next month–and eFX is setting their sights on it with this newly announced Marvel Agents of SHIELD Agent Badge & ID Card customized exclusive…

Stan Lee Funko POP Vinyl Figure New York Comic Con 2013

There are certain things I never thought I’d live to see, and a super-deformed vinyl figure of former Marvel Comics president Stan Lee is certainly somewhere on that list.

Or at least it was.

Thanks to ConventionExclusive.com and the Funko POP! Vinyls that they’re sponsoring, I can now cross that particular item off my list…

Funko Marvel Compound Hulk POP! Vinyl Figure Exclusive

Back in July during SDCC 2013, photos leaked out of a pair of hitherto-unannounced Marvel Funko POP! Vinyl figures: a Peter Parker POP Vinyl and a Compound Hulk POP Vinyl. We’ve gone a while with nary a word about either figure, but since both are mere repaints, it was always pretty certain that they would turn up eventually–and now, the first one has! Coming in October 2013 as a limited retailer exclusive, it’s the Funko Compound Hulk POP! Vinyl figure!
