Life-Size Marvel Legends Star-Lord Helmet

UPDATE (6/18/2018): For those who missed out on the life-size Marvel Legends Star-Lord Helmet last year and have been kicking themselves ever since because of the crazy $150-$200+ aftermarket prices it’s been selling for lately, you’re in luck–Amazon has put some leftovers of the electronic Star-Lord helmet back up for sale at the original $99 MSRP! I haven’t heard anything about this helmet getting a full reissue from Hasbro, so this may well be the last chance to grab this for a decent price if you need it!

Marvel Legends Wolverine Motorcycle Set Packaged Box

What, three full waves of new Marvel Legends figures going up for pre-order in two weeks still isn’t enough for you?! Well, Hasbro certainly hopes not, because they also solicited one more new figure box set this week! First shown at New York Toy Fair 2018 back in February, the 6” X-Men Marvel Legends Wolverine Motorcycle set is now up for order! If anyone’s motorcycle is going to come close to being as cool as Ghost Rider’s (because it’s sort of the same motorcycle), it’s Logan’s!

Marvel Legends 10 Years 3 Pack Thanos Doctor Strange Iron Man Set Packaged

It may be time to start building an ark, because the Hasbro flood of new Marvel Legends figures this month doesn’t seem to be letting up! This time, it’s not another whole new series of figures, though—it’s just one three pack of upgrading figures many collectors may have missed! The 6” Marvel Legends Infinity War 3-Pack of Thanos (with new head!), Doctor Strange and Iron Man is now up for order!

UPDATE: The Venom Marvel Legends Series may have just gone up for sale a couple hours ago, but single figures of every Venom Legends figure are now available for PO as well! They’re not quite as cheap per figure as buying by the case, but if you just want to cherry-pick your favorites like Spider-Ham, Scream or Carnage, you might wanna jump on this before the popular shortpacked figures are gone!

REVIEW: Deadpool Marvel Legends Cable Figure Hasbro 2018

Posted on by June 6, 2018
Deadpool Marvel Legends Cable Figure Review

After close to a year since the first figures were shown at SDCC 2017, the 2018 X-Men Marvel Legends Apocalypse Series finally went up for order yesterday! Such a momentous occassion has understandably put me into an X-Men kinda mood. And so, for today’s review, let’s take a look at the X-character who’s managed to one-up Deadpool in his own series by being by far the most in-demand figure of the wave: Deadpool Marvel Legends Cable!

Marvel Legends Lizard Build-A-Figure Review & Photos (Spider-Man)

Posted on by June 2, 2018
Close-Up of Marvel Legends Lizard Figure Head with Mouth Open

Earlier this week, I reviewed a Marvel Legends Build-A-Figure that I thought was solid overall but just a little bit boring: the Deadpool Legends Sasquatch BAF. Today I’m going to the opposite extreme with a review of a Build-A-Figure that’s anything but boring! The Marvel Legends Lizard BAF is the most expensive on the aftermarket of this year’s Build-A-Figures thus far and is quite difficult to find all the pieces for at retail. Is this classic Spidey villain worth the hype (and secondary market prices)?

Marvel Legends Monster Venom BAF & Typhoid Mary Revealed!

Venom Legends Monster Venom Build-A-Figure Close-Up

At New York Toy Fair 2018, Hasbro showed off almost the entirety of this summer’s Venom Marvel Legends series of figures, revealing five of the figures that will comprise the series. They also showed off the packaging for the Venom Legends Series, which revealed that the Build-A-Figure would be something called “Monster Venom”. Speculation ran rampant about what the Monster Venom figure would be, but today, he’s been revealed! And the Marvel Legends Monster Venom BAF isn’t alone–the final figure in the series, Typhoid Mary has now made her debut!

REVIEW: Deadpool Marvel Legends Sasquatch Build-A-Figure

Deadpool Legends Sasquatch BAF Holding Up Deadpool Figure

Continuing to slog through my massive backlog of Marvel Legends figures that I have queued for review, today I’m looking at one of this year’s most surprising Build-A-Figures. Sasquatch is one of the cheaper complete Marvel Legends BAFs on the aftermarket in quite a while, and has only a tenuous connection to the character whose series he’s the Build-A-Figure of (Deadpool). Is this Hasbro figure worth upgrading to if you already own the Toybiz version?

REVIEW: Marvel Legends Iron Spider Figure (Infinity War)

Marvel Legends Infinity War Iron Spider 6" Figure Review

Every so often, Hasbro will end up releasing a 6” Marvel Legends figure that blows my mind in both positive and negative regard. Such is the case with one of the most difficult Marvel Legends figures to find at retail so far this year: Iron Spider! Though Marvel Legends Iron Spider is selling for double on the aftermarket and is tough to snag at retail, this release baffles by what’s present being perfect, and what’s not present driving collectors nuts…

REVIEW: Marvel Legends Lasher & Prowler Figures (Lizard Series)

REVIEW Spider-Man Legends Lizard Series Prowler Lasher Figures

I’m still well behind in my 2018 Marvel Legends reviews, so I’m going to diverge from my usual format and knock out two figure reviews for the price of one today! While the Spider-Man Marvel Legends Lizard Series has been out in stores (allegedly) for a couple months now, it’s been exceedingly hard to find in a lot of areas. If you haven’t obtained the Marvel Legends Lasher and Prowler Figures yet, are they worth the hunt? Here’s my review…

Marvel Legends X-Force X-23 Review

I’ve fallen off the wagon a bit lately with regards to Marvel Legends reviews, but with Deadpool 2 hitting theaters this week, now seems like the perfect time to start catching up! And so, today I’ll be posting my first Deadpool Marvel Legends Sasquatch Series review, featuring the first Hasbro 6” scale version of a character who’s grown to be a headliner in her own right in the decade-plus since Toybiz did her: the Deadpool Marvel Legends X-Force X-23 (who’s available online now for MSRP)!

Marvel Legends Deadpool Rainbow Squad Set Up for Order!

Deadpool Rainbow Squad Marvel Legends Box Set Mercs for Money

At this point, we’ve seen almost everything Marvel Legends that Hasbro revealed last year at SDCC 2017 released in stores—with a couple of key exceptions. We’re still waiting for a wide release of the much-anticipated X-Men Marvel Legends Apocalypse series, but another (sort of) X-related release just came available this spring. Marvel Universe collectors have had little to enjoy so far in 2018, but the Marvel Legends Deadpool Rainbow Squad box set is now up for order!
