Avengers Age of Ultron Titan Hero Tech Figures

The New York Toy Fair 2015 isn’t for another month, but it seems that the Hasbro Avengers: Age of Ultron toys just couldn’t wait that long to make their grandiose debut! Of course, it’s not the Marvel Legends figures that everyone’s been waiting for that leaked out onto store shelves early. No, it’s a slightly less beloved line–the Avengers Age of Ultron Titan Hero Series! But while these Avengers AOU Titan Hero Tech figures will absolutely not be for everyone, they do give us our very first look at a Hasbro Hulkbuster Iron Man figure…

SH Figuarts Iron Man Mark 43 Figure Photos & Pre-Order!

Avengers Age of Ultron SH Figuarts Iron Man Mark 43 Figure Bandai April 2015

When it comes to high-end Iron Man figures, Hot Toys is the undisputed king. But not every collector has the space (or money) to collect an armada of $250+ sixth scale Iron Man figures. For those who prefer smaller and cheaper masterpieces, however, there’s another option for import Iron Man action figures: SH Figuarts. The downside is that it usually takes at least a year and a half for Bandai to release a new Iron Man armor after it appears in a movie. But this time–this time–Bandai is beating even the movie to the punch: the SH Figuarts Iron Man Mark 43 is now up for order!

Marvel Legends 2015 Spider-Man Series Revealed & Case Ratios!

2015 Marvel Legends Anti-Venom Figure

While we got to see the full Avengers Marvel Legends 2015 figures series at San Diego Comic Con 2014 last July, Hasbro was only willing to give Spidey fans a teaser of what to expect from the Spider-Man Marvel Legends 2015 figures series, showing off only half the lineup.

I imagine Hasbro planned to make us wait a bit longer still for the big review, but once again news from Asia has swooped in with the scoop: the full Marvel Legends 2015 Spider-Man series with Daredevil has now been revealed!

Sideshow Black Cat Statue Maquette Teaser Released

Believe it or not, it was almost a full year ago to the day that Sideshow Collectibles announced the fourth statue in the line of J. Scott Campbell Spider-Man Maquettes: Felicia Hardy, the Black Cat! But while collectors waited patiently for the entirety of 2014 for the first image of the Sideshow Black Cat statue to be posted, ultimately the Black Cat never made her debut last year.

Some wondered if Sideshow had given up on the J. Scott Campbell statues line and quietly (silently) cancelled it, but fear not: the very first image of the J. Scott Campbell Black Cat statue has now been revealed!

Disney Vinylmation Ant-Man Variant and Regular Figures

Welcome back! You may have noticed it was a bit quiet around here for the past week. I like to keep this site up-to-date with all of the latest Marvel toy news as much as possible, so I tend to shy away from taking any kind of “vacations”. But research trips…? That’s another matter entirely. So last week, I bit the bullet and suffered through a week-long research trip to Disney World in Orlando, Florida, solely for the sake of being there on the release date of the Marvel Vinylmation Ant-Man figures. Yep–that’s my story, and I’m sticking to it…

Hot Toys Captain America Avengers Age of Ultron Sixth Scale Figure Close-Up

With all of the amazing new sixth scale figures that Hot Toys debuted at the 2014 Toy Soul event in Hong Kong, it seems a bit ungrateful to be disappointed about something that Hot Toys didn’t show at the event. But Hot Toys announced three figures would definitely debut at Toy Soul 2014, and one of those characters was a no-show: the Hot Toys Ultron figure. But while we disappointed by the lack of an all-new Ultron figure, as a consolation prize, we did get to see updates Avengers Age of Ultron Hot Toys Captain America and Black Widow figures…

Hawkeye Hot Toys Avengers Age of Ultron Sixth Scale Figure 2015

If you collect Hot Toys Marvel Cinematic Universe figures and are missing one unique character from your collection, odds are that it’s the original, highly sought-after Hot Toys Hawkeye figure. See, Hot Toys made the mistake of opening pre-orders for the Hawkeye Hot Toys Avengers MMS figure before any other member of the Avengers and before the movie’s release, and as result Hawkeye MMS 172 has the smallest production number and the highest aftermarket price of the original Hot Toys Avengers. But, rejoice! There is hope on the horizon for those who can’t afford the original–the Hot Toys Avengers Age of Ultron Hawkeye has now been revealed!

Distressed Spider-Man Funko Hikari Figure Packaged

Up until now, I’ve had a futile hope that the Funko Hikari Spider-Man series of vinyl sofubi figures would be a finite collection, easily completed by purchasing the half-dozen Spider-Man Hikari figures that debuted at SDCC 2014. After all, all four of the Funko Spider-Man Hikaris that have been released/announced for purchase up until now have been ones that premiered at SDCC. Unfortunately for our shelf space and our wallets, the fifth Spidey was announced today, and it’s one we’ve never seen before–the Funko Hikari Distressed Spider-Man is now up for order!

Hot Toys Avengers Age of Ultron Hulk & Thor Figures Revealed!

Hulk Hot Toys Avengers Age of Ultron Sixth Scale Figure

When Hot Toys announced we’d be seeing some of their Avengers: Age of Ultron Movie Masterpiece Series figures debut at this week’s Toy Soul 2014 event, I kinda didn’t realize that they meant they were bringing almost the whole lineup to the show. Even so, Hot Toys brought the core six members of the Avengers, as well as Thanos and Hulkbuster Iron Man to the event. But while some figures look polished and amazing, some of them are clearly just in-development placeholders. And the most obvious culprits of being works-in-progress are the Age of Ultron Thor and Hulk figures…

Hot Toys Hulkbuster Iron Man Figure Revealed

Against all odds and expectations, Hot Toys announced earlier this week that they would be debuting the insanely-anticipated Hot Toys Hulkbuster Iron Man and Thanos figures at the Hong Kong Toy Soul 2014 event this week.

We had to wait a couple hours for the event to officially begin before they were put on display, but Hot Toys was true to their word: the Hot Toys Thanos and Hulkbuster Iron Man sixth scale figures are in the house!

Hot Toys Tony Stark Arc Reactor Creation Figure Up for Order!

Tony Stark with Arc Reactor Creation Accessories Hot Toys 2015 Set

Given that Hot Toys already put two Iron Man sixth scale figures up for order last week and another this week (for a grand total of over $900 in pre-orders), it seems reasonable to think that Hot Toys might be done with old Tony Stark for a couple weeks. But that kind of logical thought process leads to fallacy, and Hot Toys knows no limits when it comes to milking Tony Stark! Digging all the way back to the Iron Man 2 movie for inspiration, the Hot Toys Tony Stark with Arc Reactor Creation accessories is now up for order!

Marvel Select Avengers Age of Ultron Thor Figure

If there’s one mass-release small-scale action figure company that we can count on to release some five-star figures for almost every Marvel movie released, it’s Diamond Select Toys. That said, fandom wasn’t exactly ablaze with love for the first Marvel Select Age of Ultron figure announced: a slightly retooled movie Hulk figure.

Unfortunately, the second figure is unlikely to get folks much more excited–the Marvel Select Avengers Age of Ultron Thor figure is now up for order!

Avengers Age of Ultron Hot Toys Iron Man Mark 43 Order Info!

Avengers Age of Ultron Iron Man Mark 43 Hot Toys Sixth Scale Figure

Ordinarily, Hot Toys kicks off a new branch of Hot Toys Marvel sixth scale Movie Masterpiece Series figures about one month–maybe two–before a movie is actually released. But for Avengers: Age of Ultron, things are a little bit different. Maybe it’s because the first Avengers movie was the most successful superhero movie of all-time, and maybe it’s because Hot Toys already has the perfect tooling ready to make it. Regardless, the time has come far earlier than expected: the exclusive Hot Toys Iron Man Mark 43 die-cast figure is now up for order!
