This year, Funko will be bringing a soul-crushing 86 exclusives to SDCC 2014, and based on the list of hints Funko has given us, we know at least thirteen of those will be Funko Marvel SDCC 2014 exclusives…

Well, this is certainly a first. For what has got to be one of the oddest reveals in Hasbro Marvel Legends action figures history, we’ve learned of a new Marvel Legends 2014 assortment of figures… from a Japanese magazine. No, really.

A hi-res photo has surfaced that gives us the goods on five all-new, never-before-seen X-Men Marvel Legends 2014 figures, as well as what appears to be confirmation that this set will come along with… the long-lost Marvel Legends Jubilee Build-A-Figure!

Avengers Marvel Infinite Series Wave 3 Figures Set Hasbro

A couple weeks back Hasbro let retailers know the contents of this summer’s Marvel Infinite Series Wave 3 assortment so that stores could start taking Marvel Infinite Series 3 figure pre-orders. But while we knew what characters made up the series, we had to give our best guesses as to what the actual figures were going to look like as far as era, costume, and so forth. But now we wait no longer! Hasbro has released hi-res, packaged images of all six figures in Marvel Infinite Series Wave 3, including Valkyrie, Ant Man, Cyclops and more!

When it comes to the sheer amount of high-end collectibles being released for a brand, it looks like Marvel is the new Star Wars! The number of statues, sixth scale figures and other high-end products being released in 2014 is truly staggering, and Sideshow Collectibles has become increasingly ruthless this year. Yes, Taobao, the much-beloved auction site preferred by many sellers with stolen factory products, has uncovered two previously-unannounced possible SDCC 2014 exclusive Hasbro Marvel Universe 2014 Marvel Infinite Series figures: Starfox and Nebula! Iron Man Hot Toys Busts Series II Set of 8 with exclusive Holographic Mark 42 Iron Man

It seems like everything that Hot Toys produces turns to gold, but even the best companies have a dud sometimes. I was certain the Hot Toys Iron Man 3 Busts Series 1 set was going to flop with the mini-bust market being all but dead in 2014.

To my amazement, not only is the bust line continuing, but I like the second series a whole lot more than the first! Iron Man 3 Hot Toys Busts Series 2 is now up for order!

Marvel Minimates Carnage Sandman Lizard Doc Ock Deadly Foes Set

At last week’s C2E2 2014, Diamond Select Toys did a surprise reveal of their Marvel Select X-Men Days of Future Past Mystique figure to much fanfare. But while Mystique grabbed all of the headlines and glory, she wasn’t the only new item that DST debuted at C2E2. No, at the show Diamond Select unveiled yet another in a huge string of recents Marvel Minimates announcements–but this one’s a good one! Coming in September 2014–the Deadly Foes of Spider-Man Minimates set! But if you want the first Minimates Carnage in over a decade, there’ll only be one store to get it from…

Marvel Legends Amazing Spider-Man 2 Electro Review

On the eve of the Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie hitting theaters, I figured it was about time I wrote a review for the most high-profile movie Electro action figure. No, it’s not a Hot Toys Electro–they haven’t announced a sixth scale Electro (yet). Nor is it a Marvel Select Electro figure, as DST didn’t have reference materials in time to create a super-detailed Electro. No, this time out the most “high-end” figure is actually coming from Hasbro. Electro is only $17 shipped online right now, but is the Amazing Spider-Man 2 Marvel Legends Electro figure actually any good…?

Disney Infinity Marvel Superheroes Figures Revealed

If you’re reading this blog, you’ve probably been in a few toy stores in the past year. With that being the case, I imagine you’ve all heard of this video game called “Disney Infinity”. Like “Skylanders”, you buy Disney figures and stick them on a special base to activate the character in the Disney Infinity video game. Of course, all this was irrelevant to Marvel fans–until now! Today, Disney announced the new Disney Infinity Marvel Super Heroes video game, which will coincide with the launch of Disney Infinity Marvel figures and characters!

Mystique X-Men Days of Future Past Action Figure

Friday afternoon we got our first look at the Marvel Select X-Men Days of Future Past Mystique figure via the photo that Diamond Select Toys shared of Mystique, but I wanted to see a couple more shots of Mystique from several different angles. Luckily, a friend was in attendance at C2E2 2014 this weekend, and was kind enough to send me a couple more small photos of the X-Men: Days of Future Past Marvel Select Mystique figure for me to give my impressions of…

Amazing Spider-Man 2 Green Goblin Mini Bust Diamond Select Toys

With the once-mighty Bowen Designs unlikely to release a single Marvel mini bust in 2014 (and maybe not ever again), superhero mini busts definitely appear to be on life support. Even so, Diamond Select Toys will give Marvel bust collectors at least something to smile about later this year, when they release a pair of Marvel mini busts based on 2014’s not-quite-hottest Marvel movie: the Amazing Spider-Man 2 Green Goblin and Spider-Man mini busts are now available for order!
