But Diamond Select Toys has a fourth and final Marvel Select Civil War figure coming to stores this fall, and they’ve just announced him this week: the Marvel Select Unmasked Captain America Civil War figure! This poor figure has caught some flak from collectors, but I’m not sure he deserves it…

Sideshow Collectibles didn’t unveil the plethora of new Marvel pieces at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 that they usually do, but the ones that they did show were some of the most jaw-dropping, gorgeous statues at the event. And one of those pieces was among the most impressive Wolverine (and Hulk!) statues that I’ve ever seen. I’ve been looking forward to it since July, but the day has arrived–the Sideshow Exclusive Hulk vs. Wolverine Maquette is now up for order! But all this magnificence comes at a monstrous price…

Earlier this week, Mezco Toyz posted the teaser image of their first-ever New York Comic Con exclusive Marvel ONE:12 Collective figure, and today they’ve dropped the whole motherlode of official photos and details regarding the action figure. I wasn’t totally convinced which version of Matt Murdock this was before, but there’s no question now–the ONE:12 Collective NYCC 2016 Shadowland Daredevil figure has now been fully revealed!

Among the best news of the year for Marvel collectors was that Mezco Toyz had obtained the Marvel license to make mixed-media Marvel six inch figures! Mezco debuted nine figures in their pre-Toy Fair buildup, and eight of those figures have been up for order for a while. So it comes as no surprise that they were saving the final figure in the initial lineup as a NYCC 2016 Exclusive–ONE:12 Collective Black Daredevil!

It’s been quiet as far as Funko Marvel POP Vinyls go lately… too quiet! But while we’ve hit the point in the year where the vast majority of merch for Disney properties coming out will be Star Wars Rogue One-related, that doesn’t mean Funko doesn’t have a few Marvel surprised left up their sleeve!
And one such surprise appeared out of nowhere yesterday and was immediately all over eBay–a Funko Target Exclusive Winter Soldier POP Vinyl… without an arm!

While Jonathan Hickman’s lengthy run on the flagship Avengers comics may not have been to every reader’s taste, there’s no question that his run was among the most epic in Avengers history.
And to celebrate the final arc of Hickman’s final pre-Secret Wars storyline, Marvel has now announced the Marvel Unlimited Plus 2017 exclusive Marvel Legends “Time Runs Out” Captain Marvel six inch figure!

With hundreds of Marvel action figures getting released each year, sometimes a few fall through the cracks for a few days and then I don’t write a release blurb for them because I think it’s not really “news” anymore. But the dozens of readers writing in to me each day urging me to talk about the 2016 Target and Toys R Us Marvel Legends exclusives seem to think otherwise, so let’s take a look at this summer’s multi-packs…

And now for something totally different, let’s look at more store-exclusive Marvel figures that have been recently released! I knew that the Diamond Select Toys Deadpool Minimates series was due to hit Toys R Us stores any time now, and I came face-to-face with the whole series this weekend! There’s only one exclusive two-pack in the wave, but it’s pretty, uh… “Smashing”! An in, “Hulkpool… SMASH!”

The Hasbro Toy Shop San Diego Comic-Con 2016 exclusives online sale came and went earlier this month–and to the surprise of everyone, the Marvel Legends The Raft set was easily available for hours without a hitch! If you missed it, don’t despair–there are plenty available of The Raft set on the aftermarket for around MSRP! Anyway, although most collectors who wanted The Raft have purchased it already, there’s one more figure from the set I want to review: Marvel Legends Sandman in his sand form!

Ordinarily I write up a whole article detailing my speculations regarding what’s going to be in each Funko Marvel box, but after the Deadpool box, I think we all knew what to expect from the Marvel Collector Corps Spider-Man box. But before we all order our October Doctor Strange boxes (which I think are gonna be awesome), let’s stop and take a look at what was chosen for the August box…
