Ever since Bandai Japan teased some of the characters that would be included in their SH Figuarts Captain America Civil War figures series, MCU collectors have been practically wetting themselves with anticipation of the S.H. Figuarts Black Panther figure. And today, there’s good news for those collectors–and also bad news. The Black Panther SH Figuarts figure will go up for order next week–but he’s not gonna be cheap. The Bandai Black Panther Figuarts figure will be yet another Asian Bandai Tamashii Web Shop Exclusive!

Last week, Mezco Toyz began “the great money siege of 2015” when they put their very first Marvel ONE:12 Collective figure up for order: modern Captain America. While that was a figure that I couldn’t resist, Cap just whet my appetite for the 1/12th action figure that impressed me more than any other at Toy Fair 2016. I thought the timing of Mezco Toyz teasing their upcoming 1/12 Deadpool and Spider-Man figures this morning was a bit peculiar, what with none of the Marvel ONE:12 Collective figures for this year that we’ve preciously seen even being available for order yet. Of course, what I should have suspected is what turns out to be the case–those sneak peeks were to get us all hyped up to order this first figure in the line! And it worked on me–the ONE:12 Collective Captain America figure is now available for order!

As much faith as I have in most of Hasbro’s Marvel toy lines, if there’s one Hasbro Marvel action figure line I wouldn’t buy based solely off the official photos, it’s the Titan Hero Series. So even though the Civil War Titan Hero Falcon and War Machine figures went up for order online a few days ago, there was no way I was picking them up without seeing them in person. But to my delight, I saw both 12″ figures locally today–and they may be the best Titan Heroes ever!

Usually I can fit the entire name of a product into the allowed number of characters for an article title, but such is not the case with this year’s single biggest LEGO Marvel Summer 2016 set: the LEGO Marvel Spider-Man Web Warriors Ultimate Bridge Battle 76057 (try saying that three times fast). I gained a new appreciation for the LEGO Doc Ock’s Tentacle Trap set at New York Toy Fair 2016, but even so, that set can’t even approach the sheer coolness of what is almost certainly my favorite LEGO Marvel set yet…

Before we get to the New York Toy Fair 2016 in less than a week (I’m so gonna get run over by a taxi cab), there was a little (huge) show in Japan this weekend called Winter WonderFest 2016 where loads of import Marvel figures were announced. There’s a lot to talk about, but let’s start with one of the cutest toy lines in existence: the Good Smile Company showed off Avengers: Age of Ultron Captain America, Iron Man and Deadpool Nendoroids figures!
