After being one of the more expensive and sought-after Marvel Hot Toys sixth scale figures for years, the market has crashed on the Iron Man 2 War Machine MMS 120. That figure itself is still an excellent release, but the demand for that figure fell off a cliff after Hot Toys announced a die-cast version last month.

As soon as Hot Toys revealed the Striker Iron Man sixth scale figure almost a full year ago, I started counting down the days until they announced its Jade Giant-inspired upgraded armor as a limited exclusive repaint (because let’s face it–there’s no way Hot Toys would skip out on a chance to release an awesome figure with no new tooling). It’s been a long wait since the series was revealed at SDCC 2015 back in July, but the time has come at last: the first wave of Spider-Man Marvel Legends 2016 figures is now available for order! Sometimes we have to wait until January to roll around to get our first batch of a new year’s Hasbro Marvel Legends 6″ figures, and sometimes we do not. This time is the latter, thankfully–not only can we order the new 2016 Marvel Legends Spider-Man Infinite Series figures this month–they’re supposed to be delivered this month!!

Seeing as how the calendar claims today is the first day of December 2015, it’s probably time that we heard about the Winter 2016 LEGO Marvel sets, right…? Well, yes and no. While most of LEGO themes’ sets for the new year roll out January 1st, the LEGO Marvel 2016 sets are not among them. We’ll have to wait a while longer for those. Even so, at least we now know a few sets we can look forward to this winter–including the first-ever LEGO Thanos and Captain Marvel minifigures!
