Though the number of figures being released per year is a fraction of what there once was and the selection at the Disney Parks is down to almost nothing, Disney Vinylmation is still alive and puttering along!
And following up the successful release of the Vinylmation Spider-Man series last winter, the all-new Disney Vinylmation Marvel Series 3 figures will be arriving this week! Mickey-shaped Daredevil and Moon Knight, anyone…?

Everything’s coming up Deadpool! Yesterday I posted my review of the very well-done Hasbro Marvel Infinite Series Deadpool 3 3/4″ figure, which is the only new Deadpool action figure expected to be released at mass retail in advance of this movie’s “Deadpool” movie by Fox.
But while it’ll be found mostly online and in specialty stores, there’s one new Wade Wilson collectible just released that blows all the others away! The Sideshow Deadpool Sixth Scale Figure has just started shipping, and the unboxing photos show that this masterpiece was worth the year-plus wait!

While it hasn’t exactly been getting the ludicrous amount of hype that other movies coming out in the near future (*cough* Star Wars *cough*) are, there’s a superhero movie hitting theaters in just over three months called “Deadpool”. And while there won’t be a plethora of Deadpool toys at mass retail when the movie does drop, Hasbro has lined up at least one new(-ish) figure for fans to chase after: the Marvel Infinite Series Deadpool figure mold is an oldie, but is it still a goodie…?

With the upcoming releases of Maria Hill, Quicksilver and Drax the Destroyer, I had it in my head that Hot Toys had now covered virtually every single base when it came to heroic characters in the Hot Toys Marvel sixth scale figure line. But somehow, some way, I was overlooking the single most ubiquitous man in all of Marvel movie-dom. But thankfully, Hot Toys did not overlook the icon himself, with more Marvel movie appearances than any other actor in history: the Hot Toys Stan Lee sixth scale figure is now available for order!

Generally, Sideshow Collectibles likes to build up to an upcoming Marvel Premium Format Figure statue’s pre-order for at least a week with various previews to build anticipation.
But in honor of today being the night before the spookiest holiday of the year, a villain has appeared suddenly like a phantasm, and it’s the most popular Marvel movie villain of all: the Sideshow Premium Format Loki statue is now available for order!

I collect a few lines of anime figures, so I’ve been watching the Tamashii Nation 2015 event with a lot of interest for those lines. What I don’t imagine anyone was expecting to see at the show, however, was the bombshell dropped by Bandai Japan: the continuation of the SH Figuarts Avengers figures line!
Coming our way in 2016: SH Figuarts Black Widow, Hawkeye, Tony Stark, and… the Hall of Armor?!

I’m pretty sure that the UPS guy hates my guts for making him walk up the steep hill to our doorstep to deliver packages to me basically every single day of his working life, so I typically pretend I’m not home to avoid him. But today was different, as I knew he had my October 2015 Marvel Collector Corps Villains box, so I literally ran down to get the box myself! Wondering what’s inside? Read on for the unboxing photos, along with my review…

If you’ve been asking yourself the question: “What do you get for the Iron Man collector who already owns every Iron Man Mark 43 figure that costs less than $2,000?”, then you’re about to owe Sideshow Collectibles a big, fat “Thank You!”
The 42″ tall, 35 pound Sideshow Legendary Scale Iron Man Mark 43 statue is now up for order, for the *cough* “low, low price” of just $2,299.99!

2015 has been a downright incredible year for Marvel Legends collectors, no doubt about it. Hasbro released six full new waves of Marvel Legends 6″ figures this year, in addition to numerous exclusive releases. In total, over 50 new Marvel Legends action figures released this year! There’s just one problem with all this goodness: we’ve got to pay for it. But if you missed a few figures this year, you may be in luck–we’re teaming up with Entertainment Earth to give away an entire case of the Spider-Man Legends Hobgoblin Series!

Over the weekend I posted my review of one of the three “make-good” figures included in the final wave of Hasbro Marvel Infinite Series 3 3/4″ figures: Emma Frost. I was mostly satisfied with that figure of the White Queen, but even so, one of the other Marvel Universe leftovers has stolen Emma’s thunder, in my opinion! I almost didn’t order the Marvel Infinite Series Juggernaut Colossus figure, as I wasn’t sure I needed a toy of this character. I was so, so wrong… this just may be my favorite 4″ Marvel figure of 2015!

With the recent releases of the Target 3-Pack and Walgreens First Appearance Daredevil exclusives, all of the 2015 Marvel Legends 6″ figures that had been scheduled have now been released. But don’t get too comfortable, Marvel collectors! While we’ve still likely got 6-8 weeks before they begin to arrive in the United States (less if Hasbro wants to rush them for Christmas), photos have leaked out of the factories in China giving us our first look at next year’s packaging and the final finished figures composing the 2016 Marvel Legends Captain America Civil War and Spider-Man series!

As soon as Hasbro confirmed the lineup for the final wave of Marvel Infinite Series 3 3/4″ figures, I instantly knew which character fans were going to be salivating for most.
Though she was scrapped at the tail end of the Marvel Universe line, she made it in just in time for the end of this one! She’s already selling around $20 online, but is this Marvel Infinite Series Emma Frost 4″ figure a diamond like its namesake can turn into…?

Ordinarily there’s just about nothing on Earth that could make me happy to rebuy Blu Ray movies that I already own. Of course, ordinarily said Blu Rays don’t come packaged in gorgeous new packaging and with a 1:1 prop replica from one of my favorite movies of all-time (which just so happens to not be set on Earth): the Amazon Exclusive Marvel Phase 2 Collection set with Morag Orb replica is now up for order!

One of the surprise “hot” Hasbro figures of 2015 has been the 6″ Marvel Legends Chameleon figure from the second Spider-Man wave of the year. Given how well-received by collectors and difficult to find in stores that figure is, I had high expectations for the Marvel Infinite Series Chameleon 4″ figure and immediately bust it open when I received my 2015 Marvel Infinite Series Wave 3 set from EE. Unfortunately, despite how “right” the Marvel Legends version was, this Chameleon figure is a bit of a dud in comparison…
