Last year, The LEGO Group (TLG) burst onto the scene with the inaugural series of bizarre LEGO Marvel Mighty Micros sets featuring superheroes and villains battling it out… in race cars. Most of us crusty old folks agreed that the ludicrous line was destined to be a spectacular failure, crashing and burning as quickly as it came. So of course the line turned out to be a huge success, containing some of the best-selling LEGO Marvel sets ever. And now, the 2017 LEGO Marvel Mighty Micros are up for order, including Magneto, Wolverine, Scorpion, and… Thanos driving the Infinity Gauntlet Mobile?!

As soon as I saw the Diamond Select Toys Marvel Gallery statues line debut at New York Toy Fair 2016, I knew DST had a future hit on their hands. 9″ Marvel PVC statues with excellent paint applications and sculpting detail at a $45 MSRP seemed like a can’t-lose investment–and thus far, the line does look to be really taking off. And in 2017, look for it to become even more successful: Marvel Gallery Old Man Logan, Netflix Luke Cage and Iron Man statues are now up for order!

Hasbro Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Titan Hero 12″ Figures!

Earlier this month we got our first gander at the first wave of 2017 Marvel Legends Guardians of the Galaxy 6″ figures (including the Angela figure two years in the making!). But the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 movie is a pretty big deal, and that means Hasbro has a lot more in store for the franchise than six inch collector figures! And among the offerings are an extension of a niche line with more collectors than you might expect: the Guardians of the Galaxy Marvel Titan Hero 2017 12″ figures!

NECA Baby Groot Life-Size Replica Figure Up for Order!

Let’s face facts: we are going to be absolutely buried in Baby Groot merchandise in just a few months. When all is said and done, we’re probably going to see more items featuring that little sapling than every other piece of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 character put together. So with that in mind, I’ve been waiting to see which Marvel licensee would draw first blood by unveiling the first Baby Groot figure. 2016 was a great year for SH Figuarts Marvel figure collectors, giving us our very first Bandai action figures of Tony Stark, Ultron, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Ant-Man and more–not to mention Marvel Figuarts figures going up for order in North America for the first time ever. Kaiyodo Revoltech Venom Figure Revealed & Photos!

Kaiyodo has definitely gotten off to a hot start with their Amazing Yamaguchi Revoltech Marvel lineup, with both their super-fun Revoltech Deadpool and Spider-Man figures being quick sell outs overseas (though Amazon still has a few Deadpools left). And now the import-only 6″ figure line is about to get its first true villain–and he’s pretty monstrous, that’s for sure!
