Earlier today I posted about the Mezco ONE:12 Collective Gladiator Thor figure—but Mezco Toyz isn’t the only company soliciting their premium Thor Ragnarok 6” figures to coincide with the movie’s launch week! After their world premiere at NYCC 2017 last month, the SH Figuarts Thor Ragnarok Hulk and Thor figures are now up for order! But even though Bandai Japan is bringing this pair to the United States, don’t expect them (especially Hulk) to be cheap…

Ragnarok is truly upon us, as opening day for the Thor Ragnarok movie has arrived at last! To coincide with the movie’s release, this week is one of the final big pushes for Thor 3 merchandise, with several companies putting major items up for sale. And one of those items is likely to claim the crown of “Best 6” Gladiator Thor” in the land—the Mezco ONE:12 Collective Gladiator Thor figure is now up for order!

Ever since a 6” Hulkbuster Iron Man POP Vinyl was featured as the centerpiece of the inaugural Marvel Collector Corps Box in spring 2015, fans have been begging for Funko to include a 6” Hulk POP Vinyl in a box as well. When Funko announced the newest theme and placed the Marvel Collector Corps Hulk Box up for order earlier this month, it seemed like the best chance yet for that dream to become a reality. And now, the exclusive POP Vinyls have been revealed! Read on if you want to see the spoilers…

When Hasbro released a non-classic Marvel Legends Black Knight figure in 2007, fans were thrilled to get a 6” Black Knight figure… but less thrilled with the costume choice. With Black Knight no longer having much of a presence in Marvel comic books, it wasn’t clear whether or not we’d see Dane Whitman ever get another day in the sun. But for their one new Marvel reveal at MCM London Comic-Con 2017 over the weekend, the Marvel Legends 2018 Black Knight figure joined the battlefield!

While it took the better part of a year for the Human Torch to reunite with his sister, there’s going to be no such delay for the next Walgreens Marvel Legends Fantastic Four exclusive figure hitting stores! Just weeks after Johnny Storm began hitting stores in mass, I’ve received several reports, photos, and even some great impressions of the Walgreens Exclusive Marvel Legends Medusa figure, which is arriving at retail now in the U.S.!

Well, here’s a surprise worth waking up to! From the United States to Canada and now to the United Kingdom, the Hasbro Marvel Legends reveals world tour rolls on this week at MCM London Comic-Con! At NYCC 2017, Hasbro said that we’d be seeing the Marvel Legends Black Panther movie figures revealed soon, and by that, it turns out they meant at London Comic-Con, where Killmonger, the Dora Milaje and more were revealed!

At New York Comic Con 2017, Kotobukiya confirmed what most fans had already guessed: that the first entry in the ARTFX+ Defenders statues lineup would be a comics-based figure of the icon of the Netflix Marvel franchise, Daredevil. The reveal of a black costume variant right off the bat was a switch (Koto has never done variants immediately in a Marvel ARTFX+ series before), and now collectors can have their choice: both versions of the ARTFX+ Daredevil statues are now up for order!

Ordinarily I’m super-depressed when it’s a slow Marvel toy news week and there’s nothing to talk about, but since I’m dealing with major flood damage at home this week, I’m mostly okay with it. Sideshow Collectibles has their eye on all our dollars during their Spooktacular event this week, however, and following up their lightning-fast sell-out Phoenix from Monday, the Sideshow Exclusive Wasp Statue is now up for order!

When Sideshow Collectibles first put their 1/4 Dark Phoenix Statue up for order way back in January 2016, most sharp collectors wondered when the other shoe would drop and a green Phoenix variant would appear. After close to two years of waiting, though, it appeared that that hope for fans of that costume might be lost. But as she is wont to do, Jean Grey has risen once again: the Sideshow Green Phoenix Premium Format Figure is now up for order! Oh, and did I mention she’s limited to just 300 pieces?!

When Diamond Select Toys premiered their gorgeous Marvel Select X-23 Wolverine statue at NYCC 2017 earlier this month, it immediately jumped into the “instant pre-order” territory for many collectors. The question wasn’t if, but when, those fans could place their orders. Well, it ends up that we didn’t have to wait very long for that answer at all—the Marvel Gallery Wolverine X-23 Statue is now up for order! Plus, she’s brought a friend along—the Defenders-completing Netflix Iron Fist Statue!

Time has flown by, and the final Marvel movie of 2017 is now just two short weeks away! And to coincide with the movie, Funko has just shipped out their last MCU movie-themed box of the year: the Thor Ragnarok Collector Corps Box (with a Hulk box coming in December)! While I correctly predicted the two exclusive POP Vinyls that are included, I don’t think anybody on Midgard or any other real could have guessed the full contents on this really surprising box!

While I posted tons of photos of the newly-revealed Marvel Legends figures from NYCC 2017 (including Gladiator/Multiple Man and Spider-Man Noir/Taskmaster/Prowler) during the con, one thing I didn’t post at the time was photos of the Marvel Legends 2018 figures that were previously announced. But as I close off my NYCC coverage, let’s take a hi-res look at some in-person photos of the 2018 Marvel Legends X-Men, Deadpool, Avengers, Spider-Man and 12” series…

Stan Lee’s L.A. Comic Con (formerly known as Comikaze) has never disappointed yet as far as Marvel POP Vinyl exclusives go, with past convention POPs including the awesome Chrome Colossus and even a U.S. Agent figure. This year, Comikaze 2017 will have a full quartet of Funko exclusives, but only one of them will be Marvel-based. Luckily, this year’s Marvel POP is a wholly unexpected treat: a Funko Moon Knight POP Vinyl… dressed as his “Mr. Knight” suit-and-tie-wearing persona!

Up until now, Kaiyodo has delivered hit after hit in their Marvel Revoltech Ame-Comics line of 6” figures, with triumphs ranging from Venom to Magneto to Spider-Gwen. But every family has a black sheep, and the Revoltech Marvel series just may have found theirs. The Kaiyodo Revoltech Captain America figure is now up for order, although this Cap figure is drawing some criticism from collectors for being more beefcake than any Cap figure before him…

While the Marvel Cinematic Universe may be where the majority of mainstream fans know their superheroes from these days, Sideshow Collectibles still produces far more comic book-based Marvel statues than MCU movie-based ones. Only extremely popular movie characters tend to get Sideshow Marvel Maquettes—and with that in mind, the latest addition to the line should surprise no one: the Sideshow Exclusive Iron Man Mark III Maquette limited to 500 pieces is now up for order!
