Someday–someday–the sheer quantity of Deadpool figures and statues out there is going to exceed the market’s demand for Wade Wilson merch. But it is not this day! In fact, one of the most creative and unique pieces of Deadpool merch that I’ve seen to date has just been fully unveiled and put up for order today! Coming from the Good Smile Company, the Deadpool Breaking The Fourth Wall Statue is now up for order!

When Bluefin Distribution created an entirely new giant wall earlier this month to pair with the Bandai Tamashii Nations SH Figuarts Spider-Man Honecoming figure–just so that it could be released in the United States–it really hit home to me that Marvel Figuarts are here to stay in North America. So it’s not a big surprise that as pre-orders for the leader of the Figuarts Guardians of the Galaxy open up overseas, we’re getting them domestically too: SH Figuarts Star-Lord (with purple explosions effects!) is now up for order in the U.S.!

With the new Marvel Legends Spider-Man Homecoming Wave and Vulture two-pack appearing out of nowhere and Black Panther and Invisible Woman still MIA, I’ve given up guessing when and where new Hasbro Marvel Legends 6″ figures will be released. But one set that we don’t have to guess about is the Toys R Us exclusive Marvel Legends Mary Jane & Spider-Man two-pack, which has now been released overseas! Let’s check out the in-hand photos…

It’s that time of year once again! It’s hard to believe, but it’s been around a full year now since we got our last limited exclusive Marvel Hot Toys Movie Promo figures–Battling Captain America and New Avengers Scarlet Witch. Traditionally, the Marvel Movie Promo figures sell out within hours and skyrocket on the aftermarket. It will definitely be interesting to see if this year’s follows suit, though: the Hot Toys Spider-Man Homecoming Iron Man figure is now up for order!

At this point, there aren’t too many Spider-Man villains that have never had an official 6″ Marvel Legends figure released at least once. But one character that’s been overlooked–at least until now–is the albino mob enforcer, Tombstone. Lonnie Lincoln is finally getting his due from Hasbro, and while his costume might not be everyone’s first choice, the Marvel Legends Tombstone figure that went up for sale last week is really pretty killer…

I am not a gamblin’ man, so I was not altogether thrilled when I had to roll the dice and hope for the best when Amazon created a listing for a new movie Homecoming Spider-Man Marvel Legends figure with an incorrect old stock photo on Friday. Thankfully, not only did my hunch that this was a new figure pay off–it turned out that instead of the old Amazing Spider-Man 2 figure incorrectly pictured, it was actually my most-wanted figure in the wave: the 6″ Marvel Legends Homemade Suit Spider-Man figure!

If there was a meter that gauged how much of a Hot Toys fanboy you are, I would have caused it to utterly explode a long time ago. I’ve got at least one of every sixth scale Hot Toys Marvel character that’s been released, and God knows how many Iron Man figures. In short, I am hopelessly addicted. I wanted to lead off with that information because it really gives weight to what I’m about to say. What just may be my favorite item they’ve ever made has now been revealed: the Hot Toys Life-Size Baby Groot figure is now up for order!

When Target stores suddenly started restocking the original 2014 Marvel Legends Guardians of the Galaxy series of figures a couple months ago, I speculated it was because 2017 GOTG Wave 2 wouldn’t be out for a while and Hasbro probably wanted Gamora and Rocket available before the movie hit. With the movie under two weeks away now and no pre-order in sight, that certainly seems to be the case. But one thing that is now in sight is images of all seven figures in this wave packaged…

There’s no question that the Marvel figure collecting landscape is getting a little bit crowded over the last few years. There’s more Marvel toys coming out than ever before, and it can be difficult for new lines to find traction. But one new line of Marvel action figures that’s quickly becoming a fan-favorite is the Revoltech Ame-Comics series, which started last year with Deadpool, and is now preparing to launch its second X-Men related character: Revoltech Wolverine!

Of the many Funko Marvel Collector Corps boxes that have shipped since the advent of the series, the single most divisive box among subscribers was the MCC Guardians of the Galaxy box that shipped at the end of 2015. Personally, I loved the scarf and ornaments in that box–but not everyone shared my sentiments. But while that box wasn’t a unanimous hit, I think the latest one might be! While the Spider-Man Homecoming Box is now up for order, let’s have an in-depth review of this month’s outstanding GOTG Vol. 2 Box before we look to the future!

Sometimes when Square-Enix reveals new Marvel Play Arts Kai figures at a show, we wait around for what feels like all of eternity (okay, like half a year) for them to go up for order. But this is not one of those times! Just about two months after being unveiled unpainted at the 2017 Toy Fair in New York City, not only has PAK Magneto been solicited, but now the Play Arts Kai Doctor Strange figure is also up for order!

If you’re a Diamond Select Toys Marvel collector, the time to run in terror is right now. Because DST is coming for your (yes, specially your) money, with a massive list of new Marvel figures and statues going up for order this month! I’ll talk about the various PVC and resin statues that Diamond Select Toys has lined up a bit later on, but for now let’s focus on the two headliners of this month’s solicitations: the Marvel Select Spider-Gwen and Netflix Daredevil figures are now up for order!

Darn it, Loot Crate! Just when I thought I was going to get through this month without having to order any “supplementary” mystery boxes to my usual Powered by Funko subscription boxes, they just had to go and send out April 2017 Loot Crate Spoilers this morning that reveal the best exclusive in this month’s box. The Marvel Legends Jessica Jones figure is still months away, but in the meantime, you can use this QMX figure as a placeholder: the Loot Crate Investigate Box including an exclusive Jessica Jones Q-Fig closes for orders tonight!

Over the weekend (while I was getting photos with Mark Hamill and Hayden Christensen–squeeee!), some major potential news broke. Take this information with a grain of doubt, as these types of leaks usually have multiple errors in them, but in advance of the Marvel Legends Spider-Man Homecoming wave even hitting retail, Spider-Man Legends 2017 Wave 3 may have already leaked–including Mysterio, Gwenpool, Spider-Man Noir and more!

Just about the last thing I expected to have to report on from Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017 this weekend was a new Gentle Giant Skottie Young Marvel Babies statue, but what did my eyes spy in my first minutes … Continue Reading →
