The King of Marvel Exclusives has been pretty quiet ever since they announced their Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and Spider-Man Homecoming POP Vinyls exclusives. But fear not, Funko collectors–we won’t have to live in a world without fresh comic-based Marvel Funko POP Vinyls Exclusives for much longer! Coming our way this summer: Funko X-23 Wolverine, Blue Venom and Superior Spider-Man POP Vinyls! And don’t worry, Dorbz fans–Funko has new exclusives lined up for you too…

If there’s one thing that action figure companies absolutely love, it’s figures that can be easily repainted into other versions or characters. And while Square-Enix uses 100% unique tooling for every individual character they make, even the Play Arts Kai line isn’t immune to “Special Color Versions”! And so, now that the PAK Deadpool is shipping in the United States this summer, we should have all guessed that this obligatory Play Arts Kai X-Force Deadpool figure was in the works…

It’s been a pretty uneventful holiday weekend for Marvel Toy News (so much so that the most exciting thing I’ve posted is this photo of a Spider-Man Pizza Hut box on social media). But now, let’s celebrate Memorial Day with a review of a fallen hero (of a sort) getting his first-ever action figure from Hasbro this spring: the 6″ Guardians of the Galaxy Marvel Legends Ex Nihilo figure from the Mantis Series! He may have never appeared in a GOTG comic book, but he’s a nice addition to the line nonetheless…

When it comes to sixth scale Marvel movie figures, Hot Toys literally has the market cornered (and with good reason). But outside of the MCU, Hasbro and Sideshow Collectibles are chugging along with comic-based Marvel 12″ figures. And while the two companies didn’t overlap at all with their first batches of characters, for the first time we’ve got a match: the Sideshow Exclusive Thor Sixth Scale figure is now up for order! And he’s got one big advantage over the Marvel Legends version: Thor Frog!

Diamond Select Toys is fast becoming the premiere manufacturer of low-priced, high-quality Marvel statues, and their newest solicitations will add a new pair of statues of two Marvel icons into their various series. For the PVC crowd waiting for a non-Netflix version, the Marvel Gallery Daredevil statue is now up for order! And for those who love their 1/6 resin (like me!), there’s also a new Premier Collection Captain America statue on the way…

I kicked it off the Marvel Legends Guardians of the Galaxy Wave 2 reviews with the Mantis BAF over the weekend, but now let’s take a look at the single-packed figure in the series that’s been generating the most buzz among hardcore fans (and likely to be the hardest figure to get outside of buying a whole case). He’s not the major player in the Marvel Universe he was in years past, but the mere mention of his name still drew cheers during the movie sequel: it’s the first Marvel Legends Adam Warlock figure in quite a few years! And this time, he’s brought his evil alter-ego…

Before I dive head-first into reviewing the new Marvel Legends Guardians of the Galaxy Series, there’s one more figure from the 2017 Marvel Legends X-Men series left to talk about. You’ll have to buy the whole set to build him–but it must be fate, because this week only, you can get the case for $15 off MSRP and free shipping with code “XMEN” at WoozyMoo! It’s my favorite Marvel character ever, the shape-changing techno-organic member of the New Mutants–the Marvel Legends Warlock Build-A-Figure!

When I asked readers who they wanted to see reviewed first from the new Marvel Legends Guardians of the Galaxy Wave 2 Series that’s begun shipping from online retailers, I was expecting a landslide of votes for Adam Warlock and Nebula. But nope–the masses have spoken, and they want to hear about one of the more controversial (for some reason) BAF choices in quite some time. You have to buy six of the seven figures in GOTG Wave 2 to get her, but the Marvel Legends Mantis Build-A-Figure is very much worth it…

In a day and age where it’s tough to even get all stores to put out ther street-dated Star Wars figures on Force Friday, an unplanned near-simultaneous nationwide release on a new exclusive feels like a minor miracle. But that’s just what we got this week, when the Marvel Legends Mary Jane & Spider-Man two-pack began hitting Toys R Us stores from coast to coast all on the same day! And they’re not the only new exclusives hitting shelves–the fabled Marvel Legends Invisible Woman has now become visible!

We are truly living in a golden age of Marvel toys and collectibles, with more figures, statues and assorted merch coming out each year than I ever would have dreamed of a decade ago. However, there’s one gaping void in my collecting life right now: the lack of a true, regularly released Bowen Designs styled classic 1/6 statue line. But Kotobukiya is taking a step to fill that gap with the first release in a new series: the Kotobukiya Captain America Modern Myth ARTFX Statue is now up for order!

We knew–without question–that a Marvel Legends Lady Thor figure was on the way after Hasbro teased us with a photo of her at the 2017 Toy Fair. We just didn’t know when or where… until photos of the SDCC 2017 Exclusive Marvel Legends Battle for Asgard set popped up online a few weeks back. But hey, while it’s far too late to act genuinely surprised now, at least we can legit ogle these hi-res photos of Marvel Legends Malekith, Ulik, Bor, Odinson and Jane Foster Thor, right?

We’ve known that a Kaiyodo Revoltech Wolverine figure was on the way for a while (especially since they were showing off the final painted prototype about a month ago), but not to be outdone this week by that gorgeous MAFEX Deadpool figure that went up for sale earlier this week, Kaiyodo is ready for a major launch of their own: the Amazing Yamaguchi Figure Complex Wolverine Revoltech is now up for order! And while we’ve had ample figures of Logan over the years, this one is pretty interesting…

Not every character out there is ideally suited for being made into an action figure wearing soft goods clothing. But of all the characters Mezco has picked thus far for their Marvel ONE:12 Collective series of 6″ figures, there’s no better choice than the Sorcerer Supreme. With his robe and long, flowing cape, Doctor Strange was made for soft goods. And now, he’s officially being made in them: the Mezco ONE:12 Collective Doctor Strange figure is now up for order!

As part of the deluge of photos of upcoming Marvel Legends exclusives that leaked out a few weeks ago, we got our first look at a previously unannounced 12″ Daredevil figure. At the time, it seemed pretty likely where this specially-packaged DD was going to be released, but we didn’t quite know for certain. But now… we do! Today, Hasbro has officially announced their first Marvel SDCC 2017 Exclusive: Marvel Legends 12″ Daredevil!

Earlier this month we got our first peek at a major SDCC 2017 Exclusive Marvel toy when photos of the Marvel Legends Thor set of figures leaked out. But now, it’s time for an official, intentional announcement from Diamond Comics! As usual, Diamond Select Toys has multiple Marvel SDCC Exclusives lines up–and this year, it’s in the form of the two SDCC 2017 exclusive Marvel Gallery Statues: Superior Iron Man and X-Men Deadpool!
